Story
Daisy was a rescue who we believe is about 12 years old. She has been our family pet the entire time. She is in very good health and has the sweetest disposition. She has never bitten, growled at, or threatened any person or child. All of her shots are up to date. We had a recent job transfer overseas and are concerned that the move would be too much for her to handle. Additionally, we will be living in a tight urban area versus the spacious acreage we have now and just don’t know that she would be happy with no room to run and a mostly full-time indoor lifestyle. She loves to sun bath, roll in the grass, and chase squirrels, none of which will be possible in our new apartment overseas. Our children are all out for college, and have agreed that the best option is this path. (We decided college care is really not a loving option for her). We are praying for a loving family with the room and time to offer her a loving home for her remaining time. This is heart-breaking for us

Story
Hey Hey! If you have been looking for a petite girl who is full of life, I could be your match! Violet is my name and playing is my game. I am a little over 1 year old and weigh 15 pounds. My mom is a Schnauzer, and dad is a Shih Tzu.  I’m a fun-loving girl who is very active and just happy to be here! I can be a little shy of people at first, but don’t worry, I come around quickly. I love to play with my doggy friends and dream of a forever home with a friend that would like to play chase and wrestle with me. Even though I’m young and active, I’m a well-behaved girl and have outgrown most of those mischievous puppy stages. I like to sleep on the couch or in a dog bed by my foster mom. I have done extremely well on my housebreaking and definitely know to go outside.  I am also very gentle, and I think I would enjoy some kids in my forever home as well.  I have been spayed, given all my vaccinations, do not have any heartworms and I have a microchip. Her adoption fee is $300. If you would love to come see me in person, please put in an application right here.  ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport to most states across the country. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to youi  Thank you. November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
Scruffy, sweet, smart, silly Shane! Out of all the adjectives we can come up with, nothing quite sums up how amazing this boy is. Shane was surrendered to SNIPSA due to unforeseen circumstances, but he is the goodest boy of them all! We know it will not take long for him to find a new family that can give him all the love he deserves. Shane is one year old, so he already has a good grasp of his potty training and crate training. He sits for treats, settles in easily on his dog bed, and has a submissive nature. Given our first impression of Shane, we have no doubt that he will do well with other pets and even children. He truly is the perfect dog and will fit in just about anywhere. Not to mention, he is a good size at just 24 pounds, though he may gain a few more as he continues to mature. So, give Shane a chance, and he will reward you with years of loyalty! Apply to meet him today!

Story
Everyone, meet Baxter!! Baxter, the Schnauzer, is about 20 lbs and almost 2 years old. He is fullly vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Baxter tested positive for heartworms and has since been treated. It will take 6 months to 1 year for the treatment to work. We recommend retesting in 6 months. Baxter is great with other dogs but does have a tendency to want to dominate male dogs his size. He is best with older children. No small children. He is kennel trained and mostly house trained. Baxter is being fostered in La Feria, TX and will make the trip to the northeast to an approved adopter.

Story
Mooooooove on over to apply for me, please! Howdy! The name’s Moo Moo, I’m sure you’ve been able to figure out why. Despite my cow-like appearance, I promise I’m all dog. I like to consider myself a pretty lucky guy. I mean, I was rescued off a euthanasia list after all. Though the entirety of my background might be a mystery, one thing is for certain - I’m ready to offer you ALL of my love. I’m a bit timid in new situations, but after a few belly rubs and walkies, I’ll warm right up to you. Despite my mysterious background, it is obvious that I came from a home with some structure as I am already crate-trained and potty-trained! I love going for my daily walks, so I hope you're ready for a new walking partner! As a Terrier mix, you’ll come to find that I am scruffy, determined and energetic! So, it is important to know that I would probably benefit from an active lifestyle to ensure that both my mind and body stay stimulated. So, if you’re ready to seize the “moo-ment” submit an application to meet me today!

Story
11-18-24 Beenie is almost house trained! He seems to know to go outside, but he will have an accident while I am gone at work. He sleeps through the night, so you don't have to wake up to take him out. We are working on fully house training! He is great on the leash and loves walks! He seems to do well around other dogs on the walks, but we haven't interacted closely Beenie is a loving and energetic doggie! He loves to cuddle and snuggle up on the couch. But he also loves to go on walks! He makes friends quick due to his friendly and curious nature. He loves plushy toys. **************** 10-27-24 ... Hi, I'm Beenie. I'm a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I'm the sweetest, most friendly dog you could ever meet. I'm curious too, always sniffing out new scents and exploring my surroundings. But don't worry, I'm also mellow. I won't cause any trouble, I promise. I love to cuddle. There's nothing better than snuggling up with a friend after a long day. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love and curiosity. Will you be my friend? Adopt Beenie, for a lifetime of cuddles and companionship.
