Story
Uncle Matt can't see you but he sure wants someone to see him! This sweet, blind, guy deserves to finally have a wonderful home to spend his golden years! He is a little cautious/timid especially with new folks but he doesn't growl - he just freezes if he is fearful. He is learning to live his best life and do fun things like snuggle on the couch! He doesn't mind other calm dogs, but he doesn't want to be around rowdy ones. He is a mellow guy. Uncle Matt just wants a forever, stable home where he can relax! To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

Story
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and other core vaccinations. Please complete an adoption application at https://www.asvtexas.org/adoption-application.html. Kiara is a wonderful tiny spunky girl. She loves to play with her large German Shepherd foster brother. Her favorite place to be is in your arms, she can sit for an hour while at a computer or watching TV, she only weighs 6 pounds. She is a little shy meeting new people but will become your shadow before you know it. Kiara would love to have another dog in the home to play with either a small one or a gentle giant like her foster brother. We are working on potty training but at least when she has an accident it is very small.ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. No one takes a salary so all donations and grants are used for the rescue animals. December 26, 2024, 10:14 pm
