Story
Meet Scheana, a sweet 5-year-old, 22-pound Schnauzer who came to CAMO as a stray. Scheana is shy and timid, but beneath that gentle exterior is a loving heart just waiting to blossom. She needs a patient adopter who can give her the time and consistency she needs to come out of her shell and build confidence. Scheana is both dog- and cat-friendly, and she would do best in a home with older kids who can respect her need for space. With plenty of love and understanding, Scheana will flourish into the loyal companion she's meant to be. If you're looking for a gentle soul to nurture, Scheana is the one for you! Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Uncle Matt can't see you but he sure wants someone to see him! This sweet, blind, guy deserves to finally have a wonderful home to spend his golden years! He is a little cautious/timid especially with new folks but he doesn't growl - he just freezes if he is fearful. He is learning to live his best life and do fun things like snuggle on the couch! He doesn't mind other calm dogs, but he doesn't want to be around rowdy ones. He is a mellow guy. Uncle Matt just wants a forever, stable home where he can relax! To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
