Story
8-11-2025 Meet Missy, a loving momma who found her way to us at OPA when her previous owner unfortunately fell ill. She's been through a lot, but her spirit remains as sweet as Texas sweet tea. After a well-deserved spa day, Missy is now glowing and ready to share her warmth and affection with a new family. She's the epitome of sweetness, always ready to give love and comfort. Now, Missy is on the lookout for her forever home, a place where she can continue to spread her sweetness and receive the love she so deserves.` August 19, 2025, 3:48 pm

Story
Jasmine is a sweet senior Mini Schnauzer who adores attention and being around people. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Jasmine prefers to keep her paws on the ground, so she’s happiest when loved from a gentle distance rather than being picked up. A calm, caring home would be perfect for this lovely little lady.To meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process

Story
Fritz is a handsome, young Schnauzer who’s ready for a fresh start. He was found with his sister, Frieda (adopted), and while he can be a little shy at first, his sweet personality shines once he feels safe. Now freshly groomed and looking very dapper, Fritz is already showing how calm and gentle he can be.He would do best in a quieter, calmer household where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building confidence. With patience, kindness, and love, Fritz will make a loyal and affectionate companion.Est. DOB: 12/11/2419 lbs.AAR does not transport for adoption

Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this handsome guy, just fill out the appropriate application found at scoutshonor.org.     Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs November 5, 2024, 1:18 am
