Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.5 month old male schnauzer mix puppyToby is approximately four or maybe five months old. He still has his baby teeth so he is definitely not six months old yet. Our best guess is schnauzer mix. He has the most gorgeous black coat with red Hughes throughout. He has the schnauzer, wary chin and somewhat schnauzer hair, but it is soft. He is a very solid muscular stout little puppy. I am on a farm and he is very quick to learn and is very obedient. He absolutely respects the “no” command. He’s very responsive and comes when he’s called. He does not seem to be a big barker! He’s good with my cats and the other dogs. He’s just all around well mannered young puppy. He Weighed 23 pounds on Friday, 11 October October 2024. He is currently located in Harrison Arkansas. Rescue pups are transported to your location via rescue network transport. There is no additional fees to you for the transport service. Don’t let distance be a deterrent , there is a Facebook page where you can see videos of this puppy interacting with other dogs, cats, and people so you can get to know Toby. We do not send applications until after we do phone interviews, so please include your phone number and any inquiry. Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup.November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
UPDATE 10-24- Poor Daisy can't catch a break! After a fainting spell while on a walk our vets detected a new heart murmur that required a cardiology work up. She was found to have a very mild arrhythmia and high vagal tone. Right now she doesn't need medication and just will need annual cardiology follow ups and if she has more frequent collapsing episodes down the road may need further treatments eventually (which we can potentially assist her adopter with if needed at one of our partner vets)This poor girl has gone too long without a home and her recent diagnosis has scared off even more potential adopters. Please consider opening your home to this sweet shy puppy with the worst luckMeet Daisy! Daisy is coming up on a year old and has spent more than half of her young life growing up in the shelter. Let's get this adorable scruffy girl into a home. She's some kind of adorable scruffy terrier mix (but NOT a non-shedding or hypoallergenic coat) We thought she was going to grow bigger but she's topped out at only 30lbs, the perfect size. Having grown up in the shelter and already being a bit of shy puppy, she's not had a lot of positive real world experiences and her initial reaction is to be afraid and shut down when confronted with new people, places, and events. In her familiar environment here and with her familiar people, she's a funny spunky wild child who loves to race around the play yards, go for long walks, and wrestle with her doggie buddies. Car rides, strangers, and so many other things scare her but her friends here have been working on socializing her and helping her be more brave. Daisy would like a quieter home with a stable routine and structure where she can continue to learn. She gets along with compatible doggie friends (mostly playful males her size or bigger... all her playmates keep getting adopted and leaving her behind:() No kitties or tiny animals for her please, once she gets comfortable she can be a bit of a bully with them. But mostly she loves her people that make her feel safe and comfortable and will be a loyal cuddly best friend in the right home. Please submit an application for an appointment to meet Daisy Primary Color: Brindle Age: 1yrs 1mths 3wks
