Story
This is Franky! Franky is about 7-8 years old. Franky is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everything and everyone. He loves going on walks, but he also just loves cuddling in warm blankets as well. He loves children, and even rolls over on his back for them. He is interested in creatures of all species, but he enjoys chasing cats. (We believe once we neuter him, and get his dental work done, he’ll chill out on that) Franky was given to us after he kept escaping the fence of his previous owners. He was kept outside all the time. The owners decided to give him to us as they didn’t really care for him. He was emaciated, is unneutered, and was not vaccinated at the time. We are currently looking for a person who is able to stay at home most of the time (If not, we would be able to watch him free of charge) Someone who would be able to take him to a local park, and walk him around for a bit. Someone who grooms him regularly. He NEEDS to be an indoor dog.

These pups are in Wake Forest, North Carolina too!

Story
Tina Louise and Peggy Sue were someone's pets for 9 years. When they became unable to care for themselves, they were dropped off at a shelter. We rescued them because we couldn't bear the thought that these two sweet senior gals would be in a scary, loud shelter environment. Peggy gets along ok with other dogs, but also would be fine as the center of all the attention. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Please bring this sweet, scruffy girl home and apply now!

Story
Scrappy and Molly Chi came to us after their human died and the family member dumped them off at the local, crowded shelter. Scrappy is a neutered, Norwich Terrier mix around 4, and Molly Chi is a spayed, Chihuahua mix around 10. We wanted to observe them to see if they were truly bonded because sometimes when situations change, those who lived together before do not care for each other in a different home. But these guys seek each other out to snuggle and sleep together in a bed at nighttime. Because of this, we need to keep them together and honor the relationship that they’ve had for some time. Scrappy is funny and energetic - he would likely do well playing with toys and fetching balls. He does well with the other foster dogs in the home. He is a fun, happy boy. Molly is a little more reserved, cautious. She is very attached to Scrappy to be her safety blanket. Molly also likes to cuddle on her terms and isn’t the kind of Chihuahua mix who likes to be picked up. These guys, because they are a bonded pair, have a reduced adoption donation of $300 so we hope you will consider giving them a stable, loving home and also giving their past person peace knowing their babies are safe.
