Story
Meet Saylor, the 6-(ish) year-old, pint sized Schnauzer mix! If physical touch is your love language, then you're in for a treat because Saylor's favorite place to be is right in your arms. She's the ultimate Velcro dog, always by your side, and will become your little shadow in no time. Once she bonds with you (and she bonds fast!), she's all yours. Saylor has a playful streak! She LOVES zooming around the backyard, showing off her speed and her goofy little hop when she's excited. Plus, she's always up for some doggy playdates and is obsessed with chasing squirrels, even though they might be able to take her down! Saylor's a smart cookie but still working on basic training. That said, she has a surprisingly good recall to a whistle-when she's feeling like it, of course! She's also still building her confidence with new sounds and friends, so she'll need a little extra reassurance from you. But once she feels safe, she shines. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving sidekick, Saylor is ready to fill that role (and your arms)!

Story
(05/07/2021) Esco is and adorable little fellow with a heart full of love and a penchant for cuddles. He is an adventurous spirit who loves his walks and would eagerly chase after squirrels, birds, or bunnies if given the chance. For this reason, a home with a securely fenced backyard is a must to keep him safe during his playful pursuits. Always overjoyed to see you come home, Esco is potty trained and has good house manners. He would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he experiences a bit of anxiety when left alone.  Since he can be quite vocal, he will need a single family, detached home.  This charming little guy gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. However, due to his occasional reactivity with people running around, Esco would thrive best in a home with adults or families with older kids who understand his needs. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will shower you with love and joy, Esco is the perfect pup for you! Come meet him and see if he's the missing piece to your family. As part of Esco’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Esco, you can fill in anonline application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2060648##
