Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer.  We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective.  I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate.  He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way.  He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend.  He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way.  He is just fearful when meeting new people.  If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there. He walks very well on a leash. If you are interested in adopting Paxton, please submit an application on the website below.  You are welcome to call me if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
