Story
Meet Morris he is a Schnauzer mix who wants to be cuddled and loved. He is here at Pet Refuge with his brother who is equally as sweet and loving. Morris is extremely active, and enjoys playing with his brother in the yard. Morris and his brother were very shy when they first came to us, but it did not take long for them to feel comfortable with all of our volunteers. We are still getting to know more about them, so we are unsure how they are with other animals. Due to his initial shyness, older children only. A fenced yard is preferred due to his timid nature.DOB 10/01/23 21 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Meet Dawson, he is actually Morris' brother. He is as sweet as his brother, but does not have the fluffy hair. Dawson craves your love and attention and will belly up for a tummy rub. He is young and playful like his brother, and a fenced yard is preferred due to his shyness as well as older children. Dawson is relatively new to us, so we are unsure how he would do with cats and other dogs besides his brother. Dawson is a wonderful guy!DOB 10/01/23 21 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.5 month old male schnauzer mix puppyToby is approximately four or maybe five months old. He still has his baby teeth so he is definitely not six months old yet. Our best guess is schnauzer mix. He has the most gorgeous black coat with red Hughes throughout. He has the schnauzer, wary chin and somewhat schnauzer hair, but it is soft. He is a very solid muscular stout little puppy. I am on a farm and he is very quick to learn and is very obedient. He absolutely respects the “no” command. He’s very responsive and comes when he’s called. He does not seem to be a big barker! He’s good with my cats and the other dogs. He’s just all around well mannered young puppy. He Weighed 23 pounds on Friday, 11 October October 2024. He is currently located in Harrison Arkansas. Rescue pups are transported to your location via rescue network transport. There is no additional fees to you for the transport service. Don’t let distance be a deterrent , there is a Facebook page where you can see videos of this puppy interacting with other dogs, cats, and people so you can get to know Toby. We do not send applications until after we do phone interviews, so please include your phone number and any inquiry. Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup.November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
Buddy has been returned to our rescue through no fault of his own. His owner was arrested and he was taken to animal control.  Buddy was adopted in 2018 when he was a 6 month old puppy. He was rescued from the dog meat trade in Thailand. Soon after he arrived here he was adopted. He was at animal control for 2 months before we were notified. He was shut down and afraid there.  He is now 6 1//2 years old and is 45 lbs. He is the cutest scruffy looking boy.. Please watch his video. He is a well behaved, quiet dog. He likes to chill on his favorite chair. He is good with other dogs, housetrained, and a loveable boy.  He prefers a quiet home with no young children. He needs companionship and an adult who is home most of the day. He is very content to stay at home. He is healthy, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He needs a fenced in yard, no invisible fences. His adoption fee is $150. Please watch his video and put in an application on our website at www.indianasaveadog.com  ##347692##
