Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper loves people and he loves going for walks. At the perfect age of four, Cooper has the perfect energy level. He'd be just as great of a hiking companion as he would be a movie marathon pal. When he's out of his kennel, Cooper lights up with the brightest smile and we know that smile will light up even more when he finds his "fur-ever" home! Cooper would do best in a home with no cats, and with school aged kids and up!

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer.  We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective.  I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate.  He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way.  He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend.  He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way.  He is just fearful when meeting new people.  If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there. He walks very well on a leash.  Paxton would be a great friend to walk daily or run with.  He looks to me for guidance. If you are interested in adopting Paxton, please submit an application on the website below.  You are welcome to call me if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         December 31, 2024, 6:54 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This cute little girl is LADYBUG and she is such a good girl that I hardly know she is in my home.  She is 2 years old and weighs 12.5 pounds and has reached her adult height and weight. Her pictures are not that good but she is just a very cute little thing. LADYBUG gets along with everyone, all of the foster dogs and likes to play.  She is not over active just plays casually and has a good relationship with all of the other foster dogs in my home. LADYBUG came from our very high kill shelter here in San Antonio, TX after being picked up as a stray with road rash from being hit by a car.  She has no injuries and nothing needs to be cared for, she is completely healthy and very low maintenance on a daily basis. She walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting car sick.  LADYBUG would be a good addition to any family as she adjust well in.  any environment.  She is crate and potty trained. If you are interested in adopting LADYBUG please submit an application on the website below and of course you can call me anytime.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Say hello to Arlo, our lovable Schnoodle mix with a heart as big as his puppy energy! Arlo is a young, medium-sized ball of joy who is eager to shower everyone he meets with affection. Whether you're his person or just someone who’ll give him a little attention, he’s your biggest fan!Arlo's journey to happiness began in a Texas hoarding situation, where he was rescued by an amazing Southern foster. Since then, he’s blossomed into a super smart pup who is learning new things every day! His foster family is already working hard on his manners, crate, leash, and house training – and he’s catching on quickly! At heart, Arlo is a playful, curious puppy who loves other dogs and is fascinated by the house cat. While he might not fully understand that cats don't always want to play, his sweet curiosity makes him eager to be friends, and with a little supervision, he could find his perfect cat buddy!Arlo adores people, young and old, though his playful puppy nature might be a bit too much for tiny tots. If you're ready for an active, intelligent, and loving companion, Arlo will be the light of your life. This sweet little guy just needs a family ready to keep up with his puppy antics and provide the training he needs to be his very best self.Is your home ready for this bundle of joy?
