Story
Dixon is a scruffy terrier mix puppy (est. DOB 1/18/26) with the perfect balance of playful energy and gentle affection. He’s social with dogs of all sizes, loves toys (especially the noisy ones), and enjoys being picked up and cuddled like the little baby he is. He’s currently working on potty training, patience, and basic puppy manners, and does well with enrichment like snuffle mats and treat toys. Dixon is thoughtful and steady, taking in the world around him before jumping in, and he continues to grow more confident every day. He would thrive in a home with another dog and a family committed to guiding him through puppyhood with structure, love, and consistency. Dixon is a resilient, loving little guy who brings joy, softness, and heart wherever he goes. 💜 *** Go to www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn all about our dogs, watch their silly videos, read our adoption process, and to submit an adoption application. This pup will be available to meet starting on 5/16 They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2732292##

Story
Hi, I’m Cody! I’m a 5-year-old pit/schnauzer mix and I’ve been with my family since I was just 6 weeks old. I grew up with babies, kids, and other dogs and I love everyone I meet. I’m gentle, affectionate, and fully potty trained. My family loves me very much, but sadly my little human has developed severe allergies to me, so they’re searching for a new loving home for me. I also have allergies and my family has tried many traditional treatments over the past few years without success. Now I’m on a special raw diet and natural supplements that have made a big difference in helping my body heal. It’s very important that my new family can continue this care. I love going on walks, playing, and then cuddling up for naps. My kennel is my safe space, but I’m happiest when I’m close to you or hanging out with other dogs. I truly am the best boy and have so much love to give. I hope to find my forever family soon.
