Story
Say hello to newcomer Arthur!   He is a 6 year old, 20 pound  Schnauzer - Havanese mix. Arthur came to us when his owner's circumstances changed, so he is used to living in a loving home and has excellent house manners. His favorite things are going for walks and playing with other dogs, plus of course meal times. His new home must have at least one other dog companion. His least favorite things are vet visits and grooming, so he needs someone who can understand his fears and work patiently with him. Arthur is very friendly and outgoing with people and other dogs and would be a great addition to any family. Arthur is microchipped, neutered and current on vaccinations. Ideal Forever Home:   Arthur needs a forever home with a securely fenced yard.  He also needs at least one other dog companion in the home.  We are not certain how Arthur reacts to children and we prefer to adopt him to an  adult only home or one with older considerate children. Adoption Fee: Arthur’s adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application .   *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up . February 12, 2025, 12:40 pm
