The big personality of this so dedicated to life & to be adored & loved girl Miss GuiNiu, ended up in a meat market in Mudanjiang & yes you read that correctly. This beautiful girl ended up in a meat market for human consumption after a breeder had used her & then was rescued from there & ended up in another shelter. What we do know is, she was pulled out of there on deaths door with pneumonia so severe it almost took her beautiful precious life. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation she ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued GuiNiu & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting GuiNiu out, her fate was death alone just from the pneumonia. She transferred GuiNiu to her own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with GuiNiu & many other sweet souls she got well & brought back to health which took a very long time as their immunity was so severely compromised from the condition she had been living in & waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as GuiNiu & her & friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now GuiNiu is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all her needs. GuiNiu was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. GuiNiu was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Considering how deathly ill GuiNiu was in China & on deaths door it’s a miracle she survived along with her friends. To the adventurous big personality, oh so fun & bounds of bouncy energy to the girl she is now. Look out world here comes the ready to go on a hike, run, play beautiful spirited GuiNiu. GuiNiu is looking for a forever home who will walk her, run with her & have lots of adventures. It’s unbelievable to think she survived pneumonia & being in hell at a meat market for humane consumption to who this girl is now, a healthy loving girl who just wants you to give her lots of love, cuddles & affection. She is nothing but so very sweet & affectionate. She has enjoyed eating since she has been here in the US, but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding her is all new to her & just being fed all the time is new to her. She has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. GuiNiu is learning to walk on a harness & leash & done so well with us so far but would still need continued work, as she is so excited when going on her walks, she will pull & is quite strong but is really good. She also does not care about dogs or react to them when at the park. GuiNiu adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general. GuiNiu is so good with being bathed. We have had her with many breeds of dogs & she has done well with different size dogs & adores dogs so we are only looking for a home for her with another dog in the home she can play with. GuiNiu also did so well with our vets when she went & had her dental. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to GuiNiu & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. This little stunning lady has energy galore, bounds of fun loving energy. She is making up for lost time & who could blame her. She is good with other dogs & we have her with other dogs, in her new forever home there must be a young dog or young dogs for her to play with. GuiNiu has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car but we always have her with other dogs when in the car. She is such an amazing soul, she will try to stick her head out of the window if you are on the outside as if to say, “why am I not out there with you, let me out, I want to be with you”. She just sits back & enjoys the journey. With GuiNiu we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. We are also looking for a forever home for GuiNiu where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. GuiNiu is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. GuiNiu has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company so we are looking for a home where she can be with another dog or other dogs in the home in the home as she loves playing with dogs. We currently have her with other dogs. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for GuiNiu’s new forever home. GuiNiu is now roughly 40 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US with us, she is 4 years old & perhaps a standard poodle. She is spayed & female, she had a dental/scale & polish, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, had her shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on GuiNiu with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs alone bringing her through cargo was over $3000, without anything else then on top of that paying for her medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/ scale & polish, spay, shots, microchip, etc & then bringing her to WA with her transport fees than her adoption fee comes close to covering. GuiNiu has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when GuiNiu was conceived so we do not know who her parents were or her exact birthday & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & GuiNiu’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is GuiNiu potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting GuiNiu & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Webex due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for GuiNiu who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet girl. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. GuiNiu has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

The most beautiful, loving soul you will ever have the pleasure of meeting & our love who deserves the most amazing forever home. The hell BeiBei witnessed & heard when he was at the slaughterhouse is soul destroying to think about what he endured. How BeiBei ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, he was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation he ended up in. BeiBei was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. BeiBei was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. BeiBei such a softe gentle soul & so forgiving of our standards. This boy will love you & trust you once he knows you. He has truly been to hell & back. It appears in China a dog ripped off half of one of his ears & of course it was never treated & just healed naturally. He now knows no difference, it’s on ascetics. Poor him. He is a joy for us in this rescue & we love him dearly. This beautiful boy has seen & lived an absolute horror show. His past is so vile & now he his joy & zest for life pours into everything he does. He is such a sweetheart, who just wants you to love him & he is so easy to love, that’s BeiBei. He is slow to warm up to some people & others he adores immediately. It’s beyond brutal to think what came so close to happening to him as he is the sweetest, lad & loves to be held & cuddled & those eyes look straight into your soul. He has energy though when he sees his friend HeiDou but can have energy so in his new home he would need to be played with or taken on walks & needs another dog friend in the home to play with. With us though he will also lay around. He will stand on his hind legs & hug you to show you how much he loves you. He loves both men & women but we would say women more & he gets attached pretty quickly to you. He has enjoyed eating since he has been here in the US with all the new tasty food he gets but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding him is all new to him & just being fed all the time is new to him. He also enjoys a good treat & that would be many treats. When BeiBei arrived he was so skinny, it was extremely sad how very thin this boy was. He has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. He knows now what love & happiness is. It’s as if when he looks at you he is constantly saying, thank you for loving me. He still needs to put on continued weight though in his new forever home. BeiBei is still being taught to walk on his harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach him he does really well but would need continued work. BeiBei is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. BeiBei adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love & cuddled. BeiBei is wonderful when it comes to being groomed & given a bath. We don’t believe he had hardly had many baths before us. With BeiBei we had him with many breeds of dogs & he has done well with different size dogs & loves to play, play play with other dogs & loves humans company to. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to BeiBei & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He is making up for lost time & who could blame him. In his new forever be prepared as he may want to sleep in bed with you. BeiBei has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such a sweet soul. He just sits back & enjoys the journey. With BeiBei we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only because of hid horrible past. We are also looking for a forever home for BeiBei where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. BeiBei is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. BeiBei has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company so we are looking for a home where he can be with another dog or dogs as he adores them. We currently have him with other dogs so in his new home it’s mandatory to have another dog for him. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for BeiBei’s new forever home. BeiBei is now roughly 40 lbs & has put on an extraordinary amount of weight since coming to the US with us, but would still need continued weight put on in his new forever home. He is 3 years old & perhaps a standard poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is neutered & male, he had a dental/scale & polish. He is heart worm negative, he is microchipped, had his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we do not redo them as we do not over vaccinate our dogs but will redo the rabies. We have spent far more on BeiBei with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare costs, alone bringing him through cargo, without anything else then on top of that paying for his medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish, along with, neuter, shots, microchip, feeding him etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees they charge the rescue but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The cruelty that John endured is just soul destroying. He spent his life used as a breeding machine for a breeder to live off him. She ended up lending him out to another breeder who beat him to breed for 2 years & left him outside in a cage. We believe some form of stick was used as he gets worried when he sees a broom or mop & this was experienced in his first foster home. The original breeder ended up getting him back & continued to breed him & could no longer care for him or the other standard poodles she had & was keeping 3 to a crate & was not feeding them. We were asked could we help John & 6 other standard poodle puppies & we have to say that each of these dogs are the most lovely dogs you would ever meet. John is the biggest sweetheart. It’s so damn sad to think about his previous life & the lack of care. John who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him & love him just as we do. John is a very soft gentle soul & at the same time so full of life love. He likes to lay with you & can't be happier being petted & touched. He gets very attached to his people & they become his everything. He does not like to be left alone & in both foster homes he would & does howl if left alone. Let’s face it, both foster homes loved him deeply & he now gets to experience what love, devotion & and safe environment is. He is so content to rest his head on you & nap. He just started enjoying toys for the very first time his foster mum said so this is so wonderful for us & for him to enjoy himself. He loves everyone he meets & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. He enjoys sleeping on the bed with you or a pile of blankets with his foster siblings. He currently sleeps with his foster family & he did in his other foster home too. This boy loves a good couch & so enjoys sitting on a chair & looking out the window. He ate a clean diet in his first foster home with raw proteins, vegetables, fruits, cooked grains & supplements. He did wonderful on this diet. In his current loving foster home he is on kibble. John’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. He enjoys going out into the backyard & sunning himself only if you are out there with him. He adores both his foster mums & dads in both of his foster homes. John was so matted the skin that we did not know where his tail started & ended because the matting was absolutely horrendous & severe. John has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He is used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will just let you dry him. He is wonderful with being groomed. His foster mum cleans his ears out regularly & he does really well having his ear cleaned considering we don’t know if they were ever previously done. He has put on weight since being in the rescue. John rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit next to you with his dog’s friends. He gets very excited when he thinks he is going to go on a walk. He walks well on his lead now & did good considering he had never been taught. We are looking for a forever home for John where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. He will absolutely not do well being left alone so that will not work. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. John is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. John has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & was fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. We think some dogs would annoy him & be too much for him. In his current foster home he is with a cat only. But could be the only dog in the home if he was going to get all the attention. John is roughly 7 years old 42 lbs & is a standard poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He had a dental scale & polish & had 10 teeth removed including a fractured canine. He had bloodwork done & that came back good. He was treated with antibiotics & pain meds for his neuter & dental. He previously had an enlarged prostate which was causing him horrible pain but once neutered that helped the situation. He had 2 forms of yeast in his ears that were cleaned out & treated for but will be retreated again as his ears were so full of fur. He is male, neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & being dewormed. John has been around cats since being in the rescue & the cat is blind in his foster home & has been indifferent with the cat. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children. But we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when John was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & John’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. John has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting John & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. Diana along with her 2 other siblings were kept 24/7 in a crate & the breeder here in WA state was not feeding them. She would forget to feed these beautiful souls she said & could not take care for them. 3 of them were kept in a cage at the age of 6 months & when we got them they were so extremely skinny & so matted & stunk so bad & had not been receiving any love nor care & had never ever been to a vet & were consuming their own fecis to stay alive. Yes, you did just read that correctly. We rescued a total of 9 standards from this breeder when she would allow them to leave & instantly got everyone straight to our vets. Our souls were so broken for what Diana had endured & her siblings. Diana & her siblings are all available for a loving devoted forever home now they are healthy & so very loved. Diana is so easy going considering her past life but had to learn what it was like to be in a loving foster home & the normal freedom. At first when she arrived she didn’t know what to do & was uncertain after being kept in a cage. Those days are over for Diana & now she knows she can go wherever she wants. You can find this girl just sitting there taking it all in as she is so grateful. She will just sit there or lay there & watch what you are doing without a care in the world now. We cannot stress enough how lovely Diana is & deserves the most loving home. This girl is so stunning inside & out & she has come along way since we rescued her. We posted her story on social media along with her journey & her siblings. The reality is she had to learn everything with us. She is so forgiving. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection once she has built that trust with you. She adores her foster mum & has gotten cheekier as every day passes. She will put her paws on the kitchen counter & try to eat what is on the benches. In her foster homes she eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & different supplements. She loves her bully sticks & collagen sticks too. At first we had to teach her not to eat her fecis as that’s all she knew to survive. We treated her for worms & giradia a few times because of this which was so very sad. Diana is still learning to walk on harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach her how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Diana has been taught to walk on a slip lead. Diana is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Diana adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all once she knows you. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. In her foster homes she loves beds, blankets & will want to sleep with you if she can. In her foster home she instantly taught herself to walk up hardwood stairs. She is a very smart intelligent girl. She also loves laying near her brother Bentley. We have tested her in a daycare environment & she did well with many breeds & was fostered with puppies & loves puppies. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Diana & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She absolutely loves her chew toys now. She is definitely a dog’s dog & likes people too. Diana has learnt to ride in the car & does amazing in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lady. With Diana we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl, we do not want this again for our sweetheart. We are also looking for a forever home for Diana where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly he can go with them. Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit too. Diana is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Diana has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings or her brother Bentley who she is fostered with. She is a very playful girl & definitely needs a very playful dog in her new forever home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Diana new forever home along with another dog friend if it’s a freestanding dwelling. She can jump a small fence. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. Diana is now roughly 46.5 lbs & is 1 year old & a female standard poodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is spayed by laser & is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. She had her ears cleaned & meds put into them. We have spent far more on Diana with multiple vet visits between 2 vets, getting her well & her surgeriy without anything else than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Diana has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Diana with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Diana was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Diana’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Diana potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Diana & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Diana who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Diana has an adoption fee of $1255 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. Lyric along with her 2 other siblings were kept 24/7 in a crate & the breeder here in WA state was not feeding them. She would forget to feed these beautiful souls she said & could not take care of them. 3 of them were kept in a cage at the age of 4 months & when we got them they were so extremely skinny & so matted & stunk so bad & had not been receiving any love nor care & had never ever been to a vet & were consuming their own fecis to stay alive. Yes, you did just read that correctly. We rescued a total of 7 standards from this breeder when she would allow them to leave & instantly got everyone straight to our vets. Our souls were so broken for what Lyric had endured & her siblings. Lyric & her siblings are all available for a loving devoted forever home now they are healthy & so very loved & the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. Lyric is so now a ball of love, fun & energy & so very spirited. Considering her past life she had to learn what it was like to be in a loving foster home & the normal freedom. At first when she arrived she didn’t know what to do & was uncertain after being kept in a cage. She had to learn to walk properly as she did not know how to from being kept in a cage with her 2 siblings. Those days are over for Lyric & now she knows she can go wherever she wants. You can find this girl just sitting there taking it all in as she is so grateful. She will just sit there or lay there & watch what you are doing without a care in the world now. We cannot stress enough how lovely Lyric is & deserves the most loving home. She adores her foster mum & her foster dad & has gotten cheekier as every day passes. She will put her paws on the kitchen counter & try to eat what is on the benches & will pull food down if she can. In her foster home she eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & different supplements. She loves her bully sticks & collagen sticks too. She is absolutely obsessed with her food & she will eat with her foster siblings but will want to eat all the food. Considering her past this is not surprising. At first we had to teach her not to eat her fecis as that’s all she knew to survive. We treated her for worms & giradia a few times because of this which was so very sad. It has taken months upon months upon months to put the amount of weight we have put on her. She could still put on more weight at a slow rate. Lyric is still learning to walk on harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach her how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Lyric has been taught to walk on a slip lead. Lyric is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Lyric adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all once she knows you. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. In her foster homes she loves beds, blankets & will want to sleep with you if she can. In her foster home she instantly taught herself to walk up hardwood stairs. She is a very smart intelligent girl. She also loves laying near her brothers & lets other dogs lay on top of her to snuggle with her. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Lyric & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She is definitely a dog’s dog & loves people too. Lyric has learnt to ride in the car & does amazing in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lady. With Lyric we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl, we do not want this again for our sweetheart. Story
All applications will be reviewed and responded to by 12/26 Animal Profile: Daphne, Evie and Pixie were surrendered in San Bernardino when their owner was sited for having too many dogs. They are 1-year-old, 35-45lb poodle mixes that are friendly with people and other dogs. With those sweet eyes and scruffy faces, we know they’ll get scooped up fast in the PNW! Foster Update: Evie weighs a perfect 45lbs. She has settled into foster care quickly, and easily warmed up to her foster mom and dad. She is currently in a an apartment and doing well. She is curious about the world, and loves to go on sniffari adventures. Evie is affectionate and loves a good belly rub. She tolerates bathing, grooming (even tooth brushing!) and general coat maintenance well. Evie is non reactive to other dogs on walks, and would do best with a fellow canine companion in her forever home. She is working on her leash manners and will need continued training on basic obedience. She is too nervous around sudden movements and loud noises for us to consider homes with children under the age of 12. Her ideal home would have shy dog experience and a securely fenced yard. Evie sleeps soundly in her crate at night, and is doing great potty training. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/03. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.February 7, 2025, 12:20 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Rio! He is a 1-year-old, 52 LB, Pudelpointer who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Rio is fun, full of energy, and very playful! He walks well on a leash and does not pull much but is strong if he does decide to pull towards something. He has done amazingly with other dogs in our care and very much enjoys having playtime with his canine friends and would love another playful canine companion in the home. Rio is very sweet, smart, and aims to please his handler which is great for training purposes. He is a working breed dog and will need an active adopter to keep him both physically and mentally stimulated. We are looking for a home for him outside of the city with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He can still be a little mouthy when taking treats and excited, so we recommend no kids under 10 years old. He has not been tested with cats or other small animals. Rio is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay via Zelle, PayPal, or cash. How Jam ien survived on the deathly streets of China with his beloved brother Jie & nothing happening to them to this day we will never know. We cannot even begin to imagine what Jam ien witnessed & heard when he was on the streets for almost a week. What we do know is, that Jam ien kept his brother Jie safe & everywhere they went Jie would follow Jam ien & he more than likely kept him safe & alive. What we do know is, Jam ien & his bonded brother Jam ien were rescued off the streets by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the extremely dangerous situation he ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers they rescued Jam ien & many others for us. Without these beloved rescuer’s going & getting Jam ien from, the streets his fate would of been a horrendous death. They transferred Jam ien to their own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with Jam ien & many other sweet souls they got well & they waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Jam ien & his friends & brother deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Jam ien is looking for a special family to cherish him & his brother Jie & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Jam ien was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Jam ien was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Lovely little chap Jam ien & his brother Jie have come such a long way since being rescued in China. They have really flourished & gotten so much more confident. It depends upon the person who he tends to like more, wether it is a female or male. The boys were in 2 foster homes & in 1 foster home they loved the foster dad over the foster mum & did everything with the foster dad & loved him & was not interested in the foster mum. Then in their other foster home they preferred the foster mum over the foster dad but still liked the foster dad. We think for Jam ien he needs a home with a backyard as in apartment living with the noises he just don’t do well with the different unknown noises but in a house would be ideal for them. Jam ien has enjoyed eating since he has been here in the US with all the new tasty food he gets but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding him is all new to him & just being fed all the time is new to him. He also enjoys a good treat. He has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. Jam ien loves you once he knows you & trust you & will paw at you to get your attention or to be picked up. He & is brother are very similar but their personalities have changed & flourished since being with us. Jam ien does really well on her harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach him how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Jam ien is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Jam ien adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Jam ien is so good with being bathed. With Jam ien we had him with many breeds of dogs & he has done well with different size dogs. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Jam ien & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He is making up for lost time & who could blame him. In his new forever home he will more than likely sleep wherever his brother is, they are 2 peas in a pod. But with the right forever home he may want to sleep in the bed with you. Jam ien has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride once he knows & trusts his people. He is such a sweet little guy once he knows & trusts you just like his brother. He just sits back & enjoys the journey. With Jam ien we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only because of his horrendous past. Absolutely no crates for him. He gets very frightened when put into a crate. We are also looking for a forever home for Jam ien where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Jam ien is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Jam ien has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs in his loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Jam ien’s new forever home. Jam ien is now roughly 14.6 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US with us, he is 2 years old & perhaps a miniture poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is neutered & male, he had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays & 1 premolar extraction. He is heart worm negative, he is microchipped, up to date on his shots, had his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Jam ien with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare costs, alone bringing him through cargo, without anything else then on top of that paying for his medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish & dental x-rays, 1 premolar extraction, neuter, shots, microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Jam ien has been around cats since being in the rescue & does well but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend children nor cats, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Jam ien was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Jam ien’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Jam ien potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jam ien & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. We will only be accepting applications for Jam ien who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet little man. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Jam ien has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived & had been used for 6 years straight as breeding machines & were used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. The girls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 11 lives including Frankie & Fiona. What’s shocking & truly is a first for us is these girls had just been spayed. How we don’t know because when we got Frankie her spay was clearly infected & was oozing puss & needed medical treatment & antibiotics which of course we took care of. But the girls were just so lovely still. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Frankie & Fiona how they are supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Frankie & Fiona & their friends were bought back to the WA state where they are now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find their new loving devoted forever home together. These 2 beautiful girls from the get go were so extremely sweet & so forgiving of humans. Wow have they come along way. They both arrived freshly shaved down to the skin but now their fur has started to grown back in beautifully. On Frankie she has a patch where perhaps she had a hot spot or & infection that was never treated & has a bit of a patch there but in time should grow in. They both now love a Christmas jumper, spend their days with a beautiful family who have been teaching them what it is to be loved & held. At the end of the day they are both happy for you to pick them up & give them love & stay in your lap or to be playing. They have been so great with very respectful children in their foster home. These girls are very bonded & we would never e er separate them. They will look for each other & are so joyous once they know where the other one is. Frankie & Fiona both foster mums said are so affectionate & jumps at you to pick them up & give you love & kisses & hugs. The reality is, the foster homes are their real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding they can snuggle up in, a roof over their head that’s not outside. Both girls are wonderful eaters & not shy about eating. They are eating a diet clean in their foster home, meaning they ate grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. The girls are so good with their baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. They both adore comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something they did not get to experience ever in 6 years until we rescued them. Both girls have loved everyone they have met. They both have been taught to walk on a harness & leash. Frankie & Fiona both ride in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when they went to be dropped off with the breeder & when we got them & going home with their foster families & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to them though. We are looking for a crate free home for these ladies only. Frankie & Fiona as you can imagine spent the first part of their lives in a caged environment. So we are looking for a cage free home only. We are also looking for a forever home for Frankie & Fiona where someone is home during the day or they can go with their people wherever possibly they can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Frankie & Fiona are looking for a forever home who will cherish them & love them as they should be loved & be patient with them & never give up on them. UPDATE: Frankie & Fiona were adopted & returned & we were given a reason regarding Frankie’s foot. We have them both back in a loving foster home where they are back on homemade food & thriving & we are getting Frankie weekly laser treatment on her foot. These girls are the nicest sweetest girls. Frankie is on cage rest while getting her laser treatments. Frankie & Fiona have been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in their foster homes & they are currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. So they can go to a forever home with other dogs in the home or just the pair of them together. We will not separate the girls so please do not use ask us too. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory if living in a home. Frankie & Fiona are roughly 15.6 lbs & 11.6 lbs & 6 years old & ‭miniture poodles‬. What they are mixed with we are not sure, female, they are both spayed, microchipped, received all their shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies. Frankie has a heart murmur. They both had dental scale & polish’s & Frankie had 3 premolars & 2 incisors removed. The breeder spayed her & she arrived with her spay oozing puss & needed antibiotics. Fiona had 1 premolar, 1 incisor & 1 intermediate removed. While in the care of a foster home, who they are no longer with. Frankie’s toes were broken on 1 foot, her front foot. How, we truly will never know? We have had Frankie in a splint while her toes are healing & 1 has completely healed & we are waiting on the remaining 3 to heal. Doing 2 laser treatments every single week for 4 weeks Frankie’s bone is now healed. You would never know this happened except a slight limp sometimes & she will randomly hold it up. But again you would never know this happened to her. We also got her acupuncture to help heal her foot. We have spent far more on Frankie & Fiona with getting them from a commercial breeder. Bringing them to WA with their travel costs, their transportation to WA. All of their medical care in WA etc & bringing them to WA than their adoption fee comes close to covering. Their adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Frankie & Fiona. The girls have not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had them around small children & they have done well but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Frankie & Fiona were conceived so we do not know who their parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think their breed is. As with all of our rescues & the girls friends they will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Frankie & Fiona potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting the girls & going through our process and have read their listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You don’t even know he is there his foster mum said. He will follow you wherever you go & wants to be with someone if he is not with his dog friends. If he has his dog friends with him, he will lay & snuggle with them. He will sleep right next to his foster mum in bed with her & his foster siblings & wont move all night as he is so grateful. He also loves to be cuddled & receive love & carried around. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. He has put on weight since being in his loving foster home. He has a major dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays with us & had gum surgery along with 3 premolars removed & 8 incisors.
