Story
Animal Profile: Tater is an 8 week old poodle mix. He will be joining us along with his 3 siblings on Sunday 11/10. He and his siblings are friendly with people and dogs. Their owner was cited for having too many, and agreed to relinquish puppies. Mom is a poodle, dad is unknown. We rescued 3 adult dogs from the property last week and they are in the 35-40lb range, so expecting these babies to be in the same range full grown. With those sweet eyes and scruffy faces, we know they’ll get scooped up fast in the PNW! . Foster Update: Meet Tater, a sweet, playful, and happy-go-lucky puppy with a curious and gentle nature! Tater is a bit on the quieter side, but don't let that fool you—he’s always up for some fun and loves to explore the world around him. He’s food motivated and smart, which makes him a great candidate for training, and he’s already impressing with how quickly he adapted to his crate at night and even learned how to go up stairs on his first day (though going down still intimidates him!). Tater is a social little guy who loves being near his adult dog companion, but he also knows how to entertain himself and is perfectly content to play independently. He’s interested in the cat too, but remains pretty mellow when it comes to that interaction. Like all puppies, Tater has his mischievous moments and will need a little supervision—he’s still working on potty training, but he’s very manageable and a joy to be around. With his sweet temperament, playful spirit, and love for cuddles, Tater is sure to grow into an amazing companion who’ll bring tons of joy to his forever home!
