Story
Sadie is a 4 month old mixed breed puppy. We are told she has a doodle dad and a boxer mix mom. Who knows, but so far, she is very low to minimal shedding. Sadie is a firecracker. She came to us from an older couple who simply took on too much. Sadie is in training learning obedience, and her new family needs to continue training to help her become a balanced, well-behaved adult dog. Sadie loves other dogs and all adults and kids. She has no fear!! She does get over stimulated, a work in progress. With training, she will learn to greet in a calm manner. She is currently 27lbs, and she will be a medium to large adult. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Sadie is a goofy, fun girl looking for adventure.*******************************Sadie is currently in a foster home, but we are happy to arrange a meet & greet with approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/USAHOTNADOPT2024Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ##2156025##

Story
If you are looking for the perfect senior dog - look no further - because Leo is your boy - absolutely precious little guy that came to us along with 11 others from a horrible hoarding situation where they were all terribly neglected - we could not even tell if they were male or females - they were all matted so bad. Yes Leo is hard of hearing and has limited vision but you don't have to go through the puppy training or the destructive teenage years - he is just looking for some good company that would enjoy his company and someone that will love him through his golden years Here is what Leo's foster Dad had to say about him: Leo is a sweet little man who enjoys spending his days napping. He has some vision and hearing problems that keep him from playing or running around. He would rather just lay on the couch with his human and receive some pets. These vision problems don’t seem to keep him from finding his food bowl, this boy loves to eat. Leo seems to be housebroken and has not had any accidents in his foster home. He walks well on a leash but is slow due to his vision problems. Leo would fit in well in a quiet home. Someone who would just let him take his naps and enjoy a soft bed and some much deserved pets and love. Leo has been neutered and had extensive dental work done that was much needed, he has had a senior bloodwork panel done and everything is great, he is vaccinated, heartworm tested and current on prevention, dewormed and microchipped His adoption fee is 250.00 - if you are interested in Leo - please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications - WE DO NOT SET UP MEET AND GREETS UNTIL THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN FILLED OUT AND REVIEWED - WE DO VET REFERENCES AND HOME VISITS Age is just a number and this boy has so much more love to give and is ready to find a family to call his own and he so deserves that

Story
Meet Tilly! Breed: standard poodle/vizsla mix. Age: est 7 months, est birthdate 2/2024. Weight: est 39lbs, we believe she will be about 50ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained. Working on house and leash training. She is doing well with supervised house training, but will need continued guidance as she has never lived in a home before now. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, she LOVES other dogs. In fact, we believe she would do best with another canine companion in her new home. She doesn't mind the cat. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: She is a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she will follow you around and want your attention. She is playful with other dogs and she is learning how to be a companion. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Tilly would do best with a fenced yard and another dog in her home to show her the ropes. She has never known life without another dog, and she really looks to them for guidance. She has a lot of potential. She needs time, love, guidance, and patience to become the wonderful companion we know she is. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $350.September 15, 2024, 9:37 pm
