Name:    Celeste        Best Guess for Breed:    Standard Poodle Best Guess for Age:    8 years as of March 2025        Gender:    female Approximate Weight:    42 Lbs Gets Along With: Other Dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but she can be tester. Currently Living At: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. She needs a foster or adopter to secure her freedom ride to the DC area Celeste is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She's firmly closed that chapter and is eager to get her new one. The one where she gets her own humans. Where she gets to go on long sniffy walks in the neighborhood, meeting new pup and people pals - and explore the rest of the world! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish lost as well, and she wouldn't refuse to try puppacinos and other tasty treats either. You know what, though? She's way out of the puppy yips and as a wise, experienced dog knows what's most important in life: Being safe and loved and under her own roof. That's right at the top of her wish list. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. At 42 pounds, that's a pretty huggable snuggle buddy and a solid presence by your side. How about it? Story
Golden doodle, Prince, is looking for his furever home. This handsome fellow is potty trained and getting better on a leash every day. Crates or small enclosures make him nervous, however, if given adequate exercise and stimulation Prince settles down very nicely. He enjoys chasing the ball while off-leash, squeaky toys, getting belly rubs, and anything food related. Prince would do best in a home with a big yard to romp in, someone around a good portion of the time, and lots of love and treats. The adoption fee for this dog is $650. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are viewing on Petfinder and unable to view photos or would like to apply for this dog, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Story
Meet Peanut, the sweetest doodle boy who's ready to find his furever home! This big, leggy guy is all about making friends ~ whether it’s with hoomans or fellow pups, he wants to collect ALL the friends! Peanut loves his daily walks and playing fetch in the yard. He is eagerly awaiting the day his furever family walks through the doors to whisk him away to a place of marathon walks, but in the meantime he is having the time of his life. He’s met lots of new dogs, new people darn near everyday, AND his skin conditions are improving. He will need management for his skin throughout his life, as many pups with allergies do. He’s also been neutered and had a dental, so he’s all set for his new life. Peanut is great with dogs, cats, and loves to give paw. Baby gates are no match for his long legs, so he’ll need a home ready to embrace his playful, smart, and oh-so-sweet personality. Peanut is full of love and ready to bring his new family so much joy! Can you give this loveable boy a soft place to land? Peanut is approx 6 years old and 42 lbs. fostered in Hagerstown, MD please apply at mirishaven.org
