Story
Get to know Wilma: Wilma's a simple gal, a southern belle, and currently recovering from a bad injury- she was found outside a "car repair" place.... they didn't know how to repair a puppy so she was taken to the rescue after she was found. It was a really scary and sad situation but for Wilma, it started her REAL life- one of love and eating regularly and having HOPE! She's an absolute cutie with her scruffy ears and few spots on her white coat. She has a pretty smile and loves to wag her tail. The rescue people think Wilma is a Standard Poodle/Sheepdog mix... she has such a wonderful and outgoing personality. She is great with all people she meets and the smile she shares will melt everyone's heart, so be prepared!!! She'll be living a bit more laid back right now as her recovery process progresses. No high energy play or crazy activities. But that won't be for long!!! She is still a pup and now that she is fixed up and fed well and LOVED by the rescue people, she has LOTS OF FUN and LOTS OF ENERGY :) Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

He was abandoned by his owners and was living on his own, but now he has a chance to find his forever home. Despite his unfortunate situation, he has not lost his love for life. Biscuit is always ready to make new friends, be they human or canine. He is a loyal fella with a loving heart and a tail that never stops wagging. All he wants is someone to love and to be loved in return. Biscuit deserves a home where he can feel safe and secure, and never have to worry about his next meal. Adopt Biscuit and experience the unconditional love and companionship that only a pet like him can give.Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life.
