Story
Foster to Adopt   Meet Jack, a standard poodle who has endured a difficult life up to this point. This poor guy was part of a backyard breeding operation, where he was used solely for the purpose of producing more puppies to sell, with no regard for his own wellbeing or happiness. Jack was forced to live his entire life confined to a small outdoor pen, denied the love, care, and companionship that every dog deserves. To the uncaring breeders, Jack was nothing more than a money-making machine, his life and welfare completely disregarded in their single-minded pursuit of profit.  Tragically, Jack's story only gets worse from there. When the breeders decided to uproot and move to Florida, they had the audacity to simply leave Jack, along with Cash and Ginger, behind in their pens - essentially abandoning them and condemning them to an uncertain fate. The breeders callously remarked that "somebody will eventually find them," displaying a shocking lack of responsibility and compassion. Thankfully, a kind lady stepped in and intervened, taking Jack and the other dogs into her care to prevent them from being left to fend for themselves.  Now, the rescue is hoping to find a loving forever home where Jack can finally begin to heal from his traumatic past and experience the joy, affection, and comfort that he was so cruelly denied for the first years of his life. Jack is a 3-4 year old standard poodle and is an extremely precious pup, brimming with love to give despite the hardships he has endured. He will be neutered on the 13th, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and is ready to shower his new family with the unconditional companionship that he deserves. With the right home, Jack can look forward to finally building the strong bond that every dog craves, leaving the painful memories of his past behind for good. We’re looking for the perfect family to foster to adopt Jack.  What does that mean? It means Jack will come live with you, and we we’ll finalize his adoption once he’s been neutered.   We have opened his application for anyone who’s interested. https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/22197/generic Please remember, you sharing and asking your friends to share is what will help him find his family! ##2149548##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Benji is a 9  month old, 68 pound Doodle but we do not what he is mixed with. He is super sweet and loving. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is house broke and likes to go into a crate to take a nap. He has been around chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats and rabbits and does very well with them. Benji was a stray that showed up at his foster moms neighbors house and when they ran him off he started sleeping in the garage with cats, kittens and a few chickens and ducks. All he wanted was for some to care for him and love him. Benji went to the groomers and he did very well! He will need regular grooming for his soft thick hair. To adopt please visit our website @ https://www.ffosk9resq.org/ to fill out an application. Once the application is received Benji's foster mom will process the app and make all the necessary calls. Once that is done she will be in touch with you. We will not answer any questions until application is processed. Adoption fee is $325Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   November 29, 2024, 1:10 pm

Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver loves to give hugs! 🤗 Oliver was surrendered because unfortunately he was being picked on by the other dogs in his family. They were afraid he would eventually be hurt or worse. He’s a very good boy with other people and pets that won’t pick on him! His birthday is 8-24-19 and he weighed 52 pounds when first brought into rescue and was too thin. Now he is a normal weight around 65 pounds, where he should be. He is neutered, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm prevention. Oliver will NEED a fenced in yard (to play and potty, not to live in) and a dog friend that is kind to him will be a plus. Please understand the need for constant grooming upkeep with a poodle. Oliver is super playful at times and is a jumper/hugger, so no kids under 5 that he could accidentally knock over (or people with bad balance). The adoption fee is $385 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!
