Story
Claire Bear is a super sweet dog. She wants to be right where you are and loves to lay in your lap or with her head on your lap. She is the first bigger dog we have ever had and we love her, but she is just a little too much for us. We end up having to crate her while we work because she does get into things sometimes if left out. We think she would do really well with someone who works from home or is retired so that she does not have to be crated so much. She does get rambunctious at times, which I think would resolve itself with the more opportunity she has to exercise & be out of crate. Where we live we have had issues with her opening the storm door and bolting out at cars, which we hope would resolve itself with relocation. She has a very loving, funny personality. She is a little too rambunctious for small dogs or small kids but should be fine with older, calm kids or calm dogs around her size. She is house trained and is used to a crate but could use some obedience training.
