Ralphie is the only boy of his litter, and he takes after his father, who is a standard Poodle. Ralphie has been raised in a household with 4 children, and boy, does he love all the affection. He gives the affection too! Ralphie was born on February 7th, and he will be ready to travel towards the end of May. He should be a good-sized boy at full growth, as he is weighing in at 25 lbs at just 3 months of age. Ralphie will make a great addition to any family. He will be a good companion to take long walks with and cuddle up on the couch to watch a good movie with his human. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. I am going to try to groom her this weekend and get better pictures of her but she is an all black dog and those pictures are hard to take and to make them clear.  Her coat is wavy/curly and she does allow you to groom her and she takes a good bath.  GRACIE is a poodle/terrier mix who is 3 years old and 51 pounds. GRACIE's main purpose in life is to play.  She would do best in a home with another dog as a playmate.  For sure she would occupy that dog's time and energy!  GRACIE plays, eats and sleeps to get ready to play again.  She deserves a second chance at having a loving home.  I wish I knew why she was tossed away on the streets because she is such a good girl and I have no problems out of her. She loves to go on walks or do anything that involves receiving love.  She is really a pets pet and will not bother you around the house.  I have on good thoughts and great things to say about her. BIRDIE will get groomed on Thursday and I will update the 'after' pictures once she is groomed.  She is 2 years old and 40 pounds and a bit underweight.  She could stand to gain at least 5-10 pounds.  I think BIRDIE is a small large- medium size dog, not really the tall standard poodle height or weight.  Her color is cream and she takes a bath really well. She walks very well on a leash, jumps in the car and rides without getting sick.  BIRDIE is happy to meet everyone.  This is a great dog who deserves a 2nd chance at a good forever home.  She was found wandering a neighborhood and posted on social media for a while trying to find her owners but no one ever came forward.  She was not microchipped but she is now. Who is Happy, Friendly, Playful, and Sweet? It’s me, Luci! I’m a pretty Poodle mix, now about 1 year old, and I weigh 35 lbs. I was found as a stray puppy by the Northlake, Texas police department, taken to a local dog shelter, vaccinated, spayed, chipped, and then adopted by one of the police officers. Unfortunately, 7 months later, the fun wore off, my coat was matted, and the grumpy senior resident dog didn't want to play with me, so I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue to find a better life. My foster mom wants you to know that I am a wonderfully sweet and happy girl with lots of youthful energy for playtime with humans and dogs, running zoomies, playing fetch, chasing my tail, and any fun activities with my family. I love bouncy balls and crinkle toys, ropes for games of tug-of-war, and I haven't met a doggy treat I didn't like. I am friendly with everyone, not overly affectionate or kissy, but I will lay my head on you for love and pets, and I’m always up for a good head rub or back scratch. I am housebroken, crate-trained, walk well on a leash, and I don't guard my things. My curly coat is thick and will need regular brushing to prevent matting and grooming to keep me looking pretty! Pepper is 10 years old. She’s a black dog. She’s not a “beginner” dog. And in rescue… that’s already three strikes. When Pepper was found, she was in a swamp. Alone. Terrified. With a massive wound on her backside and a coat so matted it hurt just to exist. No one knows how long she was out there. Pepper is still learning how to trust. She is a dog you ask permission to touch. A dog who needs patience, respect, and someone who understands that love isn’t always instant. And here’s the part that matters most— Once you’re hers… you are hers. She will put her tiny face into your hand and ask for love. She will walk beside you. Ride in the car like a perfect little passenger. She will choose you, fully and completely… but only if you take the time to choose her first. We know she’s not for everyone.
