Story
Some cats are sweet. Some cats are beautiful. Some cats are calm, cuddly, and easy to love. And then there’s Queenie… who somehow manages to be all of those things wrapped into one absolutely perfect little cat. Queenie is around one year old, which is truly the best age. She has moved past the chaotic baby kitten stage but still has that youthful sweetness and curiosity that makes life with a young cat so fun. She has settled beautifully into her personality and it’s safe to say she has mastered the art of being the ultimate companion cat. The first thing people notice about Queenie is just how unbelievably pretty she is. She’s one of those cats that makes you stop and say, “Wow… she is SO cute.” Her sweet little face, soft fur, and gentle expression make her look like a tiny queen who knows she’s adored. She has such a calm, lovely presence about her that people instantly feel comfortable around her. But as gorgeous as she is, Queenie’s personality is what really steals hearts. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/X7O5fYgGWfQ?si=xuncIYwYi0ZH4PyL She is an incredibly loving, affectionate girl who absolutely adores pets. If you sit down next to her, there’s a very good chance she’ll happily settle in beside you and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Head scratches, back pets, gentle cuddles—Queenie is a big fan of all of it. She has that wonderful, easygoing personality where she’s simply happy being close to her people. Queenie is also what we like to call a professional relaxer. She truly enjoys the calm, cozy parts of life. Give her a comfy spot on the couch, a sunny window, or a soft blanket nearby and she will happily spend time just lounging and keeping you company. She’s the type of cat who makes a home feel peaceful and warm just by being there. She’s also just a really, really good girl. Queenie has a calm, gentle nature that makes her such an easy cat to love and live with. She isn’t demanding or chaotic—she simply enjoys being part of your daily life. Whether you’re watching TV, reading a book, or working from home, she’s perfectly content to chill nearby like your quiet little shadow. Because of her relaxed and affectionate personality, Queenie would likely do wonderfully in a variety of homes. She would be perfect for someone looking for a loving companion to cuddle with, a calm home that appreciates her relaxed nature, or really anyone who just wants a sweet, easygoing cat to share life with. She’s the kind of cat who will happily: • Curl up next to you while you relax • Accept endless pets and affection • Lounge in cozy spots around the house • Brighten your day with her sweet presence And honestly… once you meet her, it’s hard not to fall in love. She’s the type of cat that makes people say “She’s perfect.” Queenie has so much love to give and is ready to find the lucky home that gets to call her their own. If you’re looking for a cat who is beautiful, cuddly, calm, affectionate, and just an all-around amazing companion, Queenie might just be the queen of your heart. It's worth noting that Queenie is FIV+, which simply means her immune system is slightly lower than the average kitty’s. However, she doesn’t require any extra care beyond routine vet checkups — just a loving home where she can live her best life. All she needs now is her forever kingdom… and someone to share the couch with. Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69a086f7b4601e1efd05c0ba Questions? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
Meet Vivienne! A senior girl looking for a quiet home with patient adopters to allow her to acclimate in her own time. She has lived with young children previously, so she does have experience in a lively household but at this point she is looking for a calmer pace to wind down in. She has no experience living with other animals so she may prefer to be the only one in the home. She could warm up to other calmer, older animals with slow introductions for a savvy owner. She is a very loving kitty when she gets comfortable but she just needs the time to come out of her shell. If you are interested in Vivienne, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with her at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.
