Story
Plumb is one of over 30 cats from a local hoarding situation. Because he was never socialized, he is seeking a barn home where he will be able to do rodent control without having to accept human affections.  Plumb comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $10 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating as well as his medical records. To be considered to adopt, please submit an application using the following link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/15804/generic ##2179568##

Story
Leonore is a beautiful and fearful dilute tortoiseshell Himalayan mixed cat that came to Murci's Mission from a local hoarding situation. She has an estimated birthdate of 09/13/2020.  Lenore will be adaptable with other cats, and with friendly dogs, but due to her prior living arrangements, she recieved almost no social opportunity and is very shy. While she is an absolutely stunning cat, she will need a minimum of a few months to fully adjust to a new living space, and she will likely always have a wallflower type personality.  Lenore would do best in a quiet living space and as a companion for another cat. She would be a perfect apartment pal as long as you had a nice window perch for bird watching.  Please do not apply for Lenore if you're not willing to allow for numerous months of acclimation time and if you require a cat to display social skills upon meeting. Lenore comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $50 and includes a sample of the food she's been eating and her medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application!   ##2179570##

Story
Kaya, "baby kitty" is 8 years old and was adopted from the humane society in Sandpoint, ID. She was adopted as a kitten. She is very shy and sweet. She has been an indoor kitty since adopted. She has lived with 2 dogs and 3 cats for most of her life and does well with the other animals in the house. As she is very shy, she tends to hiss when first seeing a human but always warms up. She has never been mean to any humans or other animals. She can be picked up but can get scared and is pretty independent. Though she has been indoors her entire life, she may adapt to being outdoors. I think she would do best indoors or as a barn kitty.

Story
MEET JULIA AND CLEO! We don't know why these pretty sisters (Yes, they're sisters!) are still waiting for their forever home. We've had them since they were frightened, 4-month-old kittens last summer. They were born outside after their mother was abandoned in a rural area. They're double lucky, first that they were able to dodge all the predators out there and then for landing a coveted spot with Becca, one of our amazing fosters. Julia, the gorgeous lynx point Siamese, and Cleo, her sleek black sissy with a white blaze on her chest, are about 10 months old now. They've been spayed, wormed, vaccinated and are good girls with their litter box. They've been fostered with older kids, other cats and a dog and get along well with all their foster family members. Because of their scary start in life, both are a little shy with new people, so will need some settling in time in their new home. Becca, who knows them best, feels they'll do much better adopted together since where one is, the other is bound to be nearby and they always sleep together too. Who would want to break up that team? Here's what Becca has to say about her girls: Julia is a very sweet kitty, but she will need some time and patience at first. She's well worth the effort though! Once she gets to know and trust you, she will absolutely love and adore you. She's become my very best buddy, and will feel the same way about her new family, once she settles in. A calm, adult home or one with older kids would be the best fit for her. Loud noises and a lot of commotion just aren't in her comfort zone. Cleo is also a bit shy at first with new people. Once she settles in, she's the more outgoing and snuggly of the two and will purr away contentedly while you pet her. She's very, very sweet, and will love all over you once you get her seal of approval. She'll rub up against you and talk and talk, especially if treats or canned cat food are on the menu. An absolute love bug, she must know black cats have to try harder! Give Cleo a little time and patience and she'll be wonderful! If you're the family these sweet sisters have been waiting for all their lives, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. For a $100 adoption fee for the pair and a little time on your part, they'll love you forever. As you will them!
