Story
Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:Greetings! I'm Bao, a master of silliness and cuddles. My quirky personality is like a perfectly steamed dumpling filled with cheekiness and sweetness - I'll keep you laughing with my unpredictable antics while also being the most affectionate companion you could imagine. While I'm definitely not shy, I'm looking for a patient human who appreciates my unique brand of feline charm. Treats, playtime, and occasional dramatic performances are non-negotiable in my world - are you up for it?If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need to go to an indoor-only home. This will help me stay safe and healthy. Primary Color: Snowshoe Weight: 9.5 Age: 9yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Hi, my name is Sammy. Me and my brother, Bubba, we could really use your help. You see, our human parents couldn't keep us, so they reached out to Second Chance Companions and they brought us into foster. We are very bonded and really would like to have a home together. That was beyond lucky for me, cuz my foster mom noticed that I wasn't breathing quite right. After a few appointments, I was diagnosed with a a diaphragmatic hernia, which meant that my insides were not all where they were suppose to be. But, I am counting my blessings because they got me the surgery and I am 100% back to my kitten self. So, my brother and I are very energetic 7 month olds, and can keep each other entertained if you have one of those job things. We love to snuggle and are mischievous at times love to play. If you will let us we love to sleep with you at night and be prepared to be waking up with us rubbing on your face. We are good with kids and other cats. We don't have any dog experience, so, it would depend on the age and breed of the dog. Of course, slow introductions are always best. An indoor life would suit us just fine. It's good to stay safe in this crazy world. I wrote a full length note and it just erased it. She is sweet. loves to be pet and brushed . would be an excellent companion and happier being the only cat i think she is 14. born in the country and bonded with may husband as a kitten. now me since he passed last year. i am forced to move as no one allows more than 2 cats. She just had her nails cut this week. she weighed 20 lbs. It makes me sad to have to leave her but i know she would be happy if I found the right friend to love her

Story
Mephi is about 3 years old. He is a very cuddly, cute, loving, and hefty cat with a huge frame (about 2x the size of my other cat from stature alone). Although Mephi is a little shy around strangers, I don't doubt that he will find a good home. He loves to lie on top of people, the backs of chairs, and makes lots of bids for play (wadded up balls of tin foil are his favorite). The only issue you may run into is that he is a bit of a bully when it comes to food. Also, given his size, his bids for play may seem a bit aggressive to other cats, but he is very gentle with humans. I am rehoming Mephi because I am moving into a place that doesn't allow pets. I also feel like I don't give him the love and attention he deserves. He isn't up to date on his shots, but has only been an indoor cat. He would probably be good with cats who are well-socialized. He might even do well with dogs, given his size. Just be patient, as he may take some time getting used to new folks and a new home.
