Neptune is looking for a job! Working cats are wary of people, but they make excellent pest-control partners for barns, wineries, workshops, warehouses, and even private homes! Our Working Cat Program places cats who prefer minimal human interaction into safe, supportive environments where they can thrive while helping control rodents.Adopters must provide:• A secure structure that offers protection from the elements and predators• Access to natural light• Fresh food and water every day• A soft, dry, warm place for the cat to sleepThese cats may not want cuddles, but they do want a safe home—and they’ll repay you by keeping unwanted pests in check.HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location. From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. Story
Hi there, my name is Nutmeg! I just traveled to PAWS from Eastern Washington to find my furrever home. My friends at the shelter say that I am an opinionated little dude! After some decompression time I warm up into a bouncy, friendly boy. Since I`m still young and learning my manners, I would really benefit from having another young, playful cat in my new home to help with my energy levels and behavioral development. I get along great with my foster pal, Cinnamon, and we would be super happy to find a home together. Come meet me at Cat City today!

Story
🧺✨ Meet Lint Ball — The Best Thing You’ll Ever Pick Up While Cleaning ✨🧺 Sometimes, while sweeping up life’s little messes, you find a real treasure — and that treasure is Lint Ball. This handsome Siamese boy found himself at animal control in Uvalde alongside his sister, Dust Bunny. Though a bit scared at first, Lint Ball showed everyone just how sweet and loving he truly is. Lint Ball is the definition of cozy. His favorite place to be? Curled up right in your lap, purring like a top-tier appliance that never shuts off. When he’s not snuggling, he’s busy having epic rough-and-tumble play sessions with his sister — proof that even the softest lint balls can be full of energy. This gentle boy is affectionate, playful, and overflowing with charm. He’d love a home where cuddles are part of the daily routine and where he has a feline buddy to wrestle, nap, and grow up with. If your house could use a little more warmth, a lot more purring, and a companion who sticks around in all the best ways, Lint Ball is ready to roll right into your life. Don’t worry — this is one Lint Ball you’ll never want to clean up. 🐾💕
