Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Benji is a 7 year old, very handsome little boy who will devote all his attention to you. He is independent and knows what he wants and he can be a little stubborn at times. We think he was spoiled and didn't receive much training. In spit of this, he is very loveable and enjoys TV time, laying next to you and he is always up for a walk around the neighborhood. Benji needs an "alpha" type owner to show him the ropes. He came to us from a local shelter as an owner turn-in. He was only at the shelter for a day before he was transfered to us. He came with Pedigree paperwork which had his actual date of birth. He was resently neutered and had a full blood panel analysis and is up to date on his rabies and distemper which are not due again until April of 2027. Benji is good with other dogs and cats and he can be tempermental with children. A good home for Benji would be one without young children and an alpha owner who can continue his training.  Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
Meet Rocco, a 4 1/2-year-old Parson Terrier and Shih Tzu mix! He has reached his mature weight of 10 pounds, and due his petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a long coat of brown and white. His playful nature is infectious, lighting up any room with his energy. Despite his zest for play, Rocco also has a mellow side, enjoying quiet cuddles and showing his affectionate, loyal nature. He's smart and independent, often amusing himself with toys. Rocco can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he's your best friend for life. Rocco was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. His blend of playfulness, intelligence, and loyalty makes Rocco an ideal companion. His unique mix of breeds contributes to his friendly and cuddly demeanor. Adopt Rocco and let his light shine in your life! (ME, 10/18/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 3, 2024, 3:08 pm
