Story
Courtesy listing Theodora is from a breeder, but never had puppies. She is now spayed, vaccinated and ready for a home. She has learned to walk on a leash and is good fo car rides. She will need work on being housebroken still. If you require a dog that is housebroken please keep looking. She spent her life in a crate. It takes time. She had her first ever hair cut and bath after being rescued and she will need regular grooming sessions for the rest of her life, she was very well behaved for clipping but wasn’t a big fan of the bath. She gets along with dogs and cats fine about 99% of the time, on rare occasions she can be bossy towards cats/ dogs but she isn’t aggressive and it’s not very frequent and might be better now that she is spayed. If interested please fill out an application.

Story
Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 11.6 lbs Finn just arrived to ODHS! We are still learning all about him. He is a very shy, nervous boy but warms up with time. Once he knows you, he loves you. When you initially meet him, he is a bite risk. With a couple weeks time and tender loving care, he will love you. He would do best in a home with older or no kids. Finn does great with other dogs. *********************************************************************** Visit our website for an application to adopt. https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-application Educational article: 3/3/3 rule: https://www.rescuedogs101.com/bringing-new-dog-home-3-3-3-rule/?fbclid=IwAR2iv5m7fqk3FieO7LOsstGeGsYYV_F1rJOd1BPxaImofLpcinpYsUbFRWs Adoption Donations are $275 for an adult, $375 for puppies (a dog under one year of age), and $175 for a senior dog (based on the age of the dog). Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Benji is an 8 year old, very handsome, 19 pound, little boy who will devote all his attention to you. He is very loveable and enjoys TV time, laying next to you and he is always is up for a walk around the neighborhood. He loves toys and loves to play fetch.  Benji was an owner surrender to a local shelter and he was only there for a day before he was transfered to us. He came with Pedigree paperwork and we have his entire family-tree layout and actual date-of-birth. A good home for Benji would be one with an alpha owner who can continue to show him the ropes as he can be a little stubborn at times. We also feel he would do best in a home with older, considerate, children as he can be tempermental with small children. He is good with other dogs and cats and looks forward to greeting new visitors.  He was resently neutered, up to date on his rabies and distemper vaccinations, (which are not due again until April of 2027), and he had a full blood panel analysis.  This little guy is looking forward to new adventures with you!  Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet.
