Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. Diamond’s a 3yo 13lb Shih Tzu. He’s dog and kid friendly. He’s house, pee pad and crate trained. He loves running around his fosters secure fenced in yard with another dog and likes going for a harness leashed walk at least once a day. He loves playing with toys with another dog, being with his people to get tons of belly rubs and give kisses. He’s smart, gentle, playful, and enjoys car rides. He can be a barker, chew on things so will need chew toys over other dog items to keep him busy. He also can be a digger so needs to be watched when in the yard. He could use some work on training some of these things, which being food and treat motivated could help with this. Diamond’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, another playful dog a harnessed leashed walk at least once a day, plenty of chew toys along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Diamond as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Diamond’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
