Story
Meet the Prince of Princes…a King in the making! Little Reginald.
Reginald is an 11 month old, 12 lb Shih Tzu mix that is full of all the joy and bounciness of a Shih Tzu puppy!! He is already crate-trained, and housebroken (using a doggy door). Smart little guy! He is great with children, and other dogs. We are unsure how he would do with cats. He is a super sweet and playful puppy that loves to roll over for belly rubs!!
Reginald is in rescue because sadly, he was abandoned in a field in a crate. Fortunately our rescue was able to take him in and assure him he will never be abandoned again!
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.**
Interested in becoming this pup’s forever home? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and the perfect forever home for our dogs. We appreciate you working with us.
Our adoption fees cover spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
