Holly came to us when her owner moved into assisted living and his health declined to the point where he could no longer care for her properly. Holly is a friendly, social girl who even briefly lived at the assisted living facility and made lots of friends. Holly has been around grandkids, other dogs and cats and has done well. She is affectionate and sweet, loves her walks and toys, is great in the car, likes her baths and especially the blow dryer! Holly is fixed and up to date on rabies, bordetella and DHPP vaccines. Sadly, Holly has numerous health concerns that were not communicated to us by her family. She is blind and has a severe heart murmur. We are treating both an ear infection and eye infection and she has a a limp on her front leg which will require x-rays and further evaluation. She also has some arthritis in her back legs and is currently taking carprofen for pain and inflammation. We are working to schedule a cardio consult for her but unfortunately, it appears the murmur is severe. Poor Holly has been dealt an awful blow with all of these health concerns. We are hoping to make her final months as happy and comfortable as possible. How to Adopt Me! Despite inheriting seizures from his dad, Baby Valentine is too busy being the happiest pup to notice! Baby Valentine needs to take his meds every day (one of them every eight hours—yes, he has a schedule!), but don’t worry—they're very inexpensive. He’s used to taking them without fuss and goes right back to playing with every toy he can find and running around with his foster sister, trying to show her that he’s just as big and brave as she is! He needs a special human who can keep up with his meds routine. Baby Valentine is a ball of energy who loves everyone and everything! Now, he’s looking for his forever home. Meet Mila Mila is a 10 week old female Hava-Tzu. Which is a cross breed between a Shih-Tzu and a Havanese, two really great breeds and make wonderful family dogs. Mila and her brother (Murray) were recently pulled from an Ohio puppy mill after being rejected by a NY pet store. We were contacted to take these in and we couldn’t leave them there. Mila is extremely adorable with her brown eyes. Mila is a happy go lucky puppy that is just looking to find a family of her own to be spoiled with love and toys. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She is considered fully hypoallergenic. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 10 - 14 pounds. Mila is currently being fostered with Murray, Mini and Mason. She loves the company of another canine and even likes to play with the cats in her foster home. Mila is UTD on vaccinations based on her age, dewormed and Microchipped.
