Sunny was born Nov 2023. She is a little shy when she meets you, but becomes your little shadow within a few days. She is beginning to take treats and play with toys. She is 8 lbs and should not get any larger. Adoption fee is 650.00. We are working on housetraining. She gets along with other dogs, cats and older children. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. He’s used to taking them without fuss and goes right back to playing with every toy he can find and running around with his foster sister, trying to show her that he’s just as big and brave as she is! He needs a special human who can keep up with his meds routine. Baby Valentine is a ball of energy who loves everyone and everything! Now, he’s looking for his forever home. Baby Valentine gets along great with other dogs, though he hasn't been tested with cats yet. He’s doing really well with leash training and is already pee pad trained. He takes inexpensive medication four times a day, but he’s not happy about it, so his foster mom continuously comes up with new ways to get him to take it. He’s doing great in his foster home with other small dogs. He’s a 6 pound ball of energy who loves to play, but he will also snuggle up on his foster mom’s lap. He loves toys!! Where to begin? I'll tell you about this dog named Bandit. He's around 3 years old. A Shih tzu mix, he wears a long, soft coat of black and tan, and weighs only 16 pounds. It's because of his small size that any children in your home should be at least10 years old. Small children don't always realize their own strength and might unintentionally hurt such a small dog. But there are many ways to hurt another, aren't there? Bandit is a wonderful dog who gets along with other dogs, kids and his foster's cat. Still, his previous owner took him to the vet to be euthanized because she &#194&#147no longer wanted him.&#194&#148 It hurts to even think about that, doesn't it? We're doing all we can in rescue to make him forget that, and we know you will, too.
