Shi-Shi is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix who weighs about 12 pounds. She’s a sweet little dog who gets along well with other dogs and is currently being fully vetted with us. She was originally left with family and sadly never reclaimed, so she’s now looking for a stable, loving home where she can feel secure. Shi-Shi can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she does warm up with time and patience. She has had puppies in the past and will be spayed so she won’t have to go through that again. Because we are still learning more about her, we think she would do best in a home with older children or adults only. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications! 2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. Muppet is an approximately 1½ year old Shih Tzu mix weighing about 13 pounds. This adorable little guy came to us extremely matted, so he had to get quite the makeover and a serious haircut. Underneath all that fur was the sweetest little face and an even sweeter personality. Muppet previously lived with an elderly woman who loved him very much but could no longer care for him. He’s very friendly, has a gentle disposition, and seems like the kind of dog who will settle nicely into just about any loving home. He has not previously lived with children or other dogs, but based on his temperament, we think he’ll likely do well with proper introductions. Muppet is ready for a fresh start with a family who will spoil him with love, soft beds, and regular grooming appointments ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Meet Phoenix, an adorable Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso male mix. At 5 years old, Phoenix is being surrendered, through no fault of his own, and is in need of a loving home. He spends much of his time during the day alone, and would absolutely love a home where he can interact with his family, be active, be cuddled, and live his best life. Phoenix is about 13pounds of cuteness, searching for a committed, loving family. Phoenix sleeps in a crate with the door open. He is pad trained in the home, but will go outside as well. Also, leash and crate trained. He is up to date on vaccines and he is neutered. Pad training is due to Phoenix being alone up to 13 hours per day. At this time, Phoenix has not had interaction with other dogs, but current owner reports that he was left at doggy daycare and he got along with other dogs well. Phoenix would thrive in a home that’s ready to give lots of love and guidance as he continues to learn to interact with people and other animals, all while providing a family with love. Phoenix would thrive best in a quieter forever home where he can continue to show his wonderful personality. Milly is a very gentle, loving little girl that deserves a forever lap to call her own. Milly is approximately 6-7 years old and looks to be a pure bred shihtzu. She does not shed. This girl loves to hang out around the house, relax, nap, and just be with her foster mom. Milly gets along great with other dogs and lives happily with cats. She would not mind living in a home with other *CALM* animals or living alone. She is not attached to any dogs in the home. She is very easy-going. We have learned Milly is VERY scared of anything super loud – thunderstorms, lightning and fireworks. She goes from super relaxed to so so scared quickly. Please PLEASE make sure you understand that she will need extra help during storms and specific holidays. We think she can even sense bad weather because sometimes before a storm she will get very nervous and start pacing and looking worried. While we do not know her history, sometimes she will wake up crying at night. We don’t know what happened to her or what caused this, but with some sweet talks and pets, she goes right back to sleep. She sleeps in a crate but would prefer to sleep in a bed. Milly is a good with children, but she would prefer children that like to cuddle and watch tv more than be crazy. She pretty much knows how to walk on a leash and would be great with someone who can take her on short walks. Milly will require regular grooming – please take this into consideration before applying. We would love to find Milly that home she has always wanted. Please consider giving it to her. Milly is fixed, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, current on dewormer, current on flea tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption The adoption fee listed ($745) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Bubbles is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Bubbles is a very friendly and a super snuggler! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like she would be fine with proper introduction.
