Gem - spayed female, 5 years *BONDED WITH HOPE* Say hello to this Gem! Gem came to us from a humane case, and now she is ready to find a loving home! Gem is one affectionate girl. She loves to be picked up and cuddled. Gem enjoys being groomed. She sits very well when getting brushed and bathed! This happy-go-lucky girl walks nicely on a leash, and likes being outside. Gem and Hope are happiest together and they can often be found snuggling or playing a game of chase! We would also like to give a special thanks to Bethany for grooming Gem and getting all ready to be adopted! Gem does well with other dogs. Meet Rocco, a 4 1/2-year-old Parson Terrier and Shih Tzu mix! He has reached his mature weight of 10 pounds, and due his petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a long coat of brown and white. His playful nature is infectious, lighting up any room with his energy. Despite his zest for play, Rocco also has a mellow side, enjoying quiet cuddles and showing his affectionate, loyal nature. He's smart and independent, often amusing himself with toys. Rocco can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he's your best friend for life. Rocco was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. His blend of playfulness, intelligence, and loyalty makes Rocco an ideal companion. His unique mix of breeds contributes to his friendly and cuddly demeanor. Adopt Rocco and let his light shine in your life! Where to begin? I'll tell you about this dog named Bandit. He's around 3 years old. A Shih tzu mix, he wears a long, soft coat of black and tan, and weighs only 16 pounds. It's because of his small size that any children in your home should be at least10 years old. Small children don't always realize their own strength and might unintentionally hurt such a small dog. But there are many ways to hurt another, aren't there? Bandit is a wonderful dog who gets along with other dogs, kids and his foster's cat. Still, his previous owner took him to the vet to be euthanized because she &#194&#147no longer wanted him.&#194&#148 It hurts to even think about that, doesn't it? We're doing all we can in rescue to make him forget that, and we know you will, too.
