Story
My name is Bosco and I am looking for my forever home! I’m a little fella and weigh just 9 pounds. I’m about 6 years old. My foster mom laughs at me and calls me her little clown because I LOVE to play with my little stuffy toys (especially if they squeak!). I like it when she tosses them for me to fetch. Before I bring them back, I have to shake them and throw them up in the air a few times. I also love to sit on her lap and snuggle. At night I snuggle up close to help her stay warm. I enjoy running zoomies in the back yard and sometimes I get so excited I even run zoomies in the house! I love my foster canine sister and follow her outside to go potty. I didn’t have it so good before I became a Fur Fun rescue dog. Somehow, I ended up on a gravel road in Davenport. I was taken to the Scott County shelter. I was a mess! I was so dirty and matted they shaved off all my fur! (It’s grown back now and I’m really cute!) Luckily the good people at Fur Fun Rescue heard about me and came to take me to their vet right away. The vet said I was in very poor condition. I hadn’t eaten in such a long time that my bones were sticking out! I had scabs all over my body and my right eye was ruptured and the left eye was infected. I also had a urinary tract infection and was dehydrated. Once I was rescued, everything started getting better! I got lots of good food, antibiotics and pain medication. Once I was healthy enough, the wonderful vets removed my ruptured eye. I required a second surgery to fix my other eye (they told me I had a cherry eye), take care of my teeth and do my neuter. Now I feel great!! I can’t wait to find my forever home! I would love to meet you. If you want a snuggle buddy, friend and a reason to laugh, I’m you guy! I am up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. I need to have a home with a physically fenced yard so I can run, play and do my zoomies. If you would like to meet me, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org.
