Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet Rita!
Rita is a 7-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu who is looking for a special home that can help her learn about love and trust. As a former puppy mill mama, Rita has had a difficult past and is understandably very shy around people. She prefers the comfort of her dog friends, so a home with another calm, confident dog would be wonderful for her.
Rita isn't quite ready for outdoor walks just yet, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she'll start to blossom in her own way. She needs a quiet, understanding family who can give her the space to come out of her shell at her own pace. She will require a fenced yard.
If you have the patience and a big heart to offer, Rita will be forever grateful for a chance to experience a safe and loving home.
Rita is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
