Meet Rocco, a 4 1/2-year-old Parson Terrier and Shih Tzu mix! He has reached his mature weight of 10 pounds, and due his petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a long coat of brown and white. His playful nature is infectious, lighting up any room with his energy. Despite his zest for play, Rocco also has a mellow side, enjoying quiet cuddles and showing his affectionate, loyal nature. He's smart and independent, often amusing himself with toys. Rocco can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he's your best friend for life. Rocco was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. His blend of playfulness, intelligence, and loyalty makes Rocco an ideal companion. His unique mix of breeds contributes to his friendly and cuddly demeanor. Where to begin? I'll tell you about this dog named Bandit. He's around 3 years old. A Shih tzu mix, he wears a long, soft coat of black and tan, and weighs only 16 pounds. It's because of his small size that any children in your home should be at least10 years old. Small children don't always realize their own strength and might unintentionally hurt such a small dog. But there are many ways to hurt another, aren't there? Bandit is a wonderful dog who gets along with other dogs, kids and his foster's cat. Still, his previous owner took him to the vet to be euthanized because she &#194&#147no longer wanted him.&#194&#148 It hurts to even think about that, doesn't it? We're doing all we can in rescue to make him forget that, and we know you will, too. Murphy is auditioning for the role of "Beloved Family Pet" and let's just say, he's nailed the part! This white cloud of love requests a spot with his name on it where he can "couch-tato". Sleep in bed with you? Yes, please! Murphy must have sneaked in the senior center with a fake I.D. because he's quite spry, fun and playful. The perfect house guest in his foster home, he fits right in with the other doggies, is crate/ house trained, and magnificent on strolls around the neighborhood. If he wants something, he's not shy to talk about it! So adorable! Est. birthdate is 10/31/2011, 21 lbs., his $250 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, neuter and microchip. 🐾💚🐾 Stanley 🐾💚🐾 Stanley is 1.5 year old Shih Tzu mix that is looking for his forever home. Stanley can be very sweet and loves to play! We are still working on potty training but he does great in his kennel. He is about 17 pounds. Stanley is neutered, UTD on vaccines and heartworm negative. Stanley doesn’t like to be picked up, he doesn’t do well on a leash and he will growl or nip when you do something he doesn’t like. Stanley needs an experienced dog owner that can work with him. Vet references are required. Stanley is being fostered in Alabaster, AL.
