Story
I bought Sadie from Howdee Kennels in Lynden, WA. She is 1 and a half years old. She needs a patient family that can handle her excessive energy and overwhelming loving nature. She isn’t a great fit for our family due to her temperament. She is very anxious of large dogs, and overwhelms our cat (thankfully he is very calm). I would recommend a home without other pets. She is very trainable, and is crate trained, potty trained and easy to teach commands. Needs family who wants endless licks and love.

These pups are in Bellingham, Washington too!

Story
Currently fostered on Camano Island in Washington and ready to bring some laid back joy to your home is Marty! Watch his video here! https://youtu.be/MnArXUKNRMc?si=VteCKAfGdYhfuTDv Marty is an almost 2 year old miniature poodle mix, and weighs around 20 pounds. He is good with dogs of all sizes, cats, and respectful children. Due to his size, we recommend children 8 and up. Marty is described as sweet, chill, and well mannered! He follows his foster mom around everywhere, and loves short bursts of play with his canine foster sibling. Marty has lived with cats before and loves them! He may want to play with cats though, so he would do best with dog savvy kitties. Marty also enjoys kids! Especially when they are respectful and kind. Marty has lived with all kinds of dogs from 20 pound terriers to 100+ pound great danes and does well with everyone! He enjoys short bursts of play, followed by lots of relaxation, so another low-moderatley playful dog would be best for him. He would do great as an only dog as well! Marty walks really well on leash! See the video for Marty in action! He is also fully house trained and has not had any accidents. He was also previously trained to use a doggy door, but his foster mom doesn't have one and he has done great. Car rides....Marty is not the biggest fan. However, he will load up and is a decent co-pilot for those necessary outings. Marty would love a home with a fenced in yard where he can sunbathe to his heart's content. He can be a bit vocal at times so we recommend no apartments or condos. In summary, Marty is the cutest little scruff looking for a easy going family who will like to take him for walks, play, and snuggle on the couch. He is pretty low maintenance and will be the perfect little homebody companion for a variety of families! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Audrey Fluffy Snugglebug! This adorable fluffy snugglebug is not quite 11 pounds, about 2 years old, and we think she may be a Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle mix, but with rescue, it's always a guess! This dog is from a part of the US where dogs are regularly euthanized. So, this dog needs you! If you choose a dog from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Audrey's video here: * coming soon * We don't know who thinks they can resist this amazing adorable face, but it's definitely not us! Audrey has the snuggly fluff, the soft floppy ears, the endlessly waggy tail, and the perfect smile - all designed to reel you in and collect every bit of your heart. (And we are all happy to fall for her - every one of us, lol, like dominoes.) Audrey recently got a haircut, but that can't stop the fluff - her coat is already growing in soft and plush, and we know that she will just be even MORE fluffy soon. But Audrey is not just another pretty face. This clever and affectionate girl already walks so well on leash, and we suspect that she has quite a few other training tricks already mastered. She loves behind-the-ear scratches and belly rubs, and simply being next to you on the couch or in a soft comfy dog bed. We also think that Adorable Audrey definitely wouldn't be opposed to living the comfy life of a fluffy lap dog bestie - can you make that happen? Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
