Story
I'm Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. Personality: I'm a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favourite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I'm polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Walks: While I might pull on the leash a bit (I'm just excited), I'm generally well-behaved during walks. I haven't had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I'm more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. Interactions: I'm not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training: Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I'm ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. Jenny was rescued just in time from a kill shelter, and she’s ready to fill your life with love. From day one, she’s been the ultimate companion, eager to make new friends and share her gentle spirit. She adores people and welcomes strangers with open paws, letting them pet her and even carry her without a fuss. When it comes to other dogs, Jenny is polite and friendly. She enjoys the company of larger dogs and knows how to play nicely. However, if a dog shows aggression, she will stand her ground to protect herself and her loved ones. Jenny has a moderate energy level, making her the perfect blend of playful and calm. She loves outdoor walks and is a pro at leash walking, but she’s just as happy lounging indoors. This sweet girl is not a resource guarder with people, though she may growl if another dog gets too close for comfort. She rarely barks, making her a wonderfully gentle presence in any home. In the car, Jenny is a star—she does well in her crate and knows how to hop in and out with ease. She’s also potty trained and prefers to do her business outdoors. Jenny is looking for a loving family who can give her the attention she deserves and help her shine. If you’re ready to welcome a gentle, happy companion into your life, Jenny is the one for you!

Story
Molly has been waiting for some time now for the right adopter to come along, and we would really love to see her in a home of her own soon. This pretty Shiba Inu / Husky mix with the gorgeous blue eyes is about 4 years old and weighs in at a little under 50 pounds. She’s a friendly, energetic dog, and bonds well with her people. Here is what we’re looking for in her ideal adopter: EXPERIENCE: Molly needs an experienced adopter, ideally with Husky type dogs. She is not suitable for a first-time dog owner. Children need to be dog-savvy, and at least 14 years of age. ACTIVE LIFESTYLE: Molly is a high energy dog. She loves being outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running companion. FENCED BACKYARD: A safe area for training, playing, zoomies, and that last bathroom break before bed is a must. Molly would not be suitable for apartment life, and no dog parks please. OTHER PETS: Molly would be fine as an only dog as she can be a bit “in-your-face” when meeting other canines. She might enjoy being with a playful well-rounded male dog, but definitely no cats please.
