Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ (relationship with dogs) : It takes some time to get closer at the first time but, she tends to get along well unless some dog tries to playing too much. She likes to hang out with their friends. ▶ (relationship with cats) : Not the severe hunting but, she is not friendly with cats. It is not recommended with the house where the cats are living. ▶ (relationship with people) : From the time of the rescue, she was on the alert but, not aggressive at all. She doesn’t come to you first, but she even doesn’t refuse to be touched. When she gets confident or strangers visit your house then she could bark at the first time. But she only barks without any other reactions like warning or other additional actions. ▶ (house trained) : outdoor defecation ▶ (walks on leash) : She can slowly do it well. At the first time, she feared cars but, now she is good at it. In the narrow roads, when the car or bike, motorcycle pass through, then she waits until the transportation goes. If you forcibly pull her, you must be careful because she would step back. ▶ (special notes) : She is domesticated while she spent more than one year with temporary protection family, but she is still afraid of people’s touch. She lives quietly and peacefully at home nowadays. There is no problem staying along with young children. She likes to listen to bird’s chirping and appreciating the scene of landscape while sitting on the deck. It is preferred the house with wide yard. I hope Meso meet the family who will take care and accept her at it is.

Story
Meet Caleb – A Loyal and Intelligent Companion * Gender: Male * Age: 2 years * Weight: 18 kg * Breed: Shiba mix Caleb’s story is one of resilience. He was abandoned in a park and brought to a shelter where he was placed on the euthanasia list before being rescued. Understandably, he feels a bit nervous in unfamiliar environments, likely due to the trauma of being confined at the shelter. When Caleb first arrived at a training facility, he showed signs of caution and guardedness. However, within just a couple of hours, he began to approach willingly and happily accepted treats, eventually allowing himself to be petted. Over time, his affectionate and playful personality emerged. Caleb knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw" and responds well to people, showing a lively and eager-to-please demeanor once he feels comfortable. Caleb gets along well with dogs of a similar size and enjoys playing with them. While occasional rough play can lead to minor disagreements, he responds immediately to verbal correction and stops the behavior. He also shows interest in smaller dogs and, with proper introductions, can coexist peacefully without any aggression. Caleb is a social dog who likes meeting new friends, greeting them with curiosity and sniffing before moving on. Highly intelligent and eager to learn, Caleb would thrive with an adopter who can provide proper training and guidance. He has the potential to become a well-mannered companion with consistent discipline and structure. He’s resource-friendly, sharing treats without guarding them, and gets along well with both humans and other dogs. On walks, Caleb follows his handler nicely without pulling, making him a joy to take out. While he shows no signs of aggression, he may do best as an only dog or in a household with another dog of a similar size for companionship. Caleb is ready to find his forever home where he can continue to flourish with love, patience, and structure. Could you be the one to give him the life he deserves? 🐾💕

Story
Dango is waiting for her forever home! A delightful 4-month-old, Jindo/Shiba Inu mix, Dango is a social butterfly who adores people and other dogs alike! She’s quick to approach strangers, happily rubbing against them and welcoming pets, even going so far as to roll over and show her belly. With dogs, she’s equally friendly, greeting both familiar and new canine friends with enthusiasm, especially those around her size or smaller. During walks, she’s curious about cats but is easily redirected. She has a moderate energy level, enjoying outdoor activities but settling down calmly afterward. Her leash manners are impressive, though loud noises can occasionally startle her. She loves sniffing around, which means she tends to stop and start while exploring her surroundings. She’s a quiet pup, rarely barking, and behaves well in a kennel or car—she even knows how to hop in and out of the car by herself! Dango is well-versed in both indoor pad training and outdoor potty routines. While she loves food, she does eat quickly and has a habit of trying to snatch leftovers from her furry friends. She’s a big fan of toy balls, enjoys her baths, and thrives in the company of other dogs at her current multi-dog foster home and at dog-friendly parks. Dango’s journey began in July 2024 in a valley in small town, where she and her mother, a white Jindo, were found tied up alongside her five siblings. The mother was surviving on dirty water and food scraps, while the puppies struggled under the blazing sun, dehydrated and barely clinging to life. Their owner saw them as a nuisance and planned to give them away to dog meat trader. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time. Dango is now thriving and ready to find her forever home where her sweet, affectionate nature and playful personality can shine!
