Story
LOOKING FOR MY PERSON:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 30 lbs. & needs to gain a bit more weight Hello, my name is Britta!  I came to the Mostly Mutts family from animal control.  I was very scared and timid when I arrived, but the volunteers took their time with me and allowed me the space I needed to feel safe.  Soon, I went to a great foster home, where I have been loving life and have established trust with my person there. My foster has learned a lot about me and has also worked with a Mostly Mutts trainer and I’ve come a long way.  They will be happy to talk with you and share my successes and what works best for me.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I have done well with the neighbor dog when we meet at the chain link fence at my foster home – even play bowing to each other.  My foster noticed that I am dog reactive when on my walks, though.  Being on my leash makes me want to protect her, I think.  It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I’ve not met cats, but I demonstrate a strong prey drive in my foster’s backyard (squirrels, chipmunks, etc.), so I probably should not live with cats. / I haven’t met kids yet and I am quite skittish around people, in general, so I think older kids such as calm teens may be a fit for me – of course we would want to meet and see how we do together.          • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as ‘one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs you could ever meet’.  However, as mentioned above, I’m very skittish around people.  My foster had a friend come visit, and it took me two weeks to accept affection from them, such as some nice petting. I have become less reactive with people, but I do still bark and growl defensively if someone I don’t know enters the house or yard.  I would likely do best with a dog savvy owner that I can bond with and call ‘my person’ and I am not an apartment/condo type dog.  I love running and jumping in my foster’s yard.  My foster thinks I would be great as an agility dog.  Let’s build a course in our backyard and get going on my training!  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My foster is working with a trainer and can verify the fact that I am very smart and that my command training has been easy.  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands, and I have good door etiquette.  I’m currently  working on the ‘down’ and ‘give paw’ commands. / I do NOT like being in a crate and tore up a sleeping pad when my foster left me in there.  The good news is that I haven’t needed to be crated in my foster home, as I’ve done fine with having the run of the house and haven’t destroyed anything.  At bedtime in my foster home, I usually start out sleeping on the sofa but often end up at the foot of my foster’s bed. / My potty habits have been very good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I am a one-person type of dog, (typical of my breed) so I enjoy being near my person though I am not cuddly (also typical of my breed). I love my outside time in my foster’s large, fenced yard.  I leap around the yard like a gazelle at lightning speed a couple times a day and then I enjoy lounging in the yard while I stay alert to furry intruders.  I’ll keep the yard critter-free for you!  Having a secure fence in my new home is an absolute must for me, as I will want to spend a good bit of time outside with my person – my ‘happy place’.  I like to meander while on my walks and will often stop to stare down squirrels, etc.  My foster has discovered that I will often move forward if you tap me on the shoulder, but if I want to hang out somewhere, you need something to read while waiting on me - lol.  I enjoy Nylabones, other chew bones, and tummy rubs from my chosen person too!   For occasional treats I like doggie chicken jerky and a homemade air fried Liverwurst snack that my foster makes. / I’m not a dog that would be happy spending most of my time indoors, so having the opportunity for frequent ‘yard time’ visits with my person would make my day.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a great home with a patient and dog-savvy owner as I am not a first-time kind of dog!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 7, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
**Dream is fostered with Bori in Vernon** Meet Dream🩵 He's rescued from Korean city shelter. He stays with a small dog Bory and they get along very well. Dream is a good boy who behaves gentle to small dogs and young kids!!👍👍 Dream likes people so much! He loves kisses and is wagging his tail at people a lot. *Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but adept with indoor pad usage too! *He is okay with the bath but scared by the hairdryer. With just a glance of eye contact, he comes to you with wagging his tail and asks you to pet him. When getting ready for bed, he is right next to you being ready for your company😊 *He might need some time to settle in. He can be anxious when the environment is changed. *He lacks outside walking experience, so he pulls the leash when he takes a walk. He needs constant walking training. *Enjoys playing with toys, especially fetch and solo play on his bed. *Not bothered by external noise; barks briefly at strangers but quickly settles. *Minimal car sickness during a 4-hour ride; not fazed by car travel. 💜 Foster's Instagram: @ggomul_3

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ ✈️Available to fly to ATL✈️ Meet Dodam❤️ Dodam was rescued along with two other dogs, Dodo and Dorang, from a dog meat farm in Korea. Loves people so much that she vibes her charms  and when being petted. * Interaction with Other Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at the Center. Doesn’t initiate play, but says hi and plays if other dogs approach him to play first. * Car Sickness: Rides calmly without car sickness.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Dorang❤️ Dorang was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gunsan along with #AdogsDodam and #AdogsDodo. She must have watched other dogs being ruthlessly killed every day and was horrified when she was rescued. Please become a lifelong family member who will provide human warmth to Dorang. * Toward People: Is wary and distrustful of strangers as a result of serious trauma. However, wags her tail and greets them once she is acclimated to them. * Toward Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs staying at the Center.☺️ * Separation Anxiety: It is unknown since she is currently staying at the Center. * Potty Training: It is unknown since she currently resides outdoors. * Separation Anxiety: It is unknown since she currently resides in the Center in a group. * Car sickness: There appears to be none. 💟Special Notes💟 * Occasionally becomes attentive and nips at things that she dislikes, which appear to be a protective nip. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Atlanta 💟 Meet a lovely girl, KkotBun!💙 💛Health Status💛 She is missing one lower tooth and appears to have a fractured right bottom canine, but it has no bearing on her ability to eat or day-to-day activities! * Towards People: She needs some time to warm up to people. Sudden or strong movements scare her, so that she needs time to adjust and let people be at her side quietly. She's started taking treats from hands lately and opening up bit by bit. She takes treats very cautiously because she does not want to nibble on them. * Towards Dogs: She got along well with other dogs at the Adogs center. She preferred to spend time by herself in a shaded spot and take in some fresh air instead of approaching other dogs to play first. She hasn't met any in her foster home. * Separation Anxiety: She's fine being alone even when her foster family is out! * House training: She only does indoor potty as she can't go for walks yet. She's 100% with the pads, and sometimes she tries to conceal her pee or poop with her nose. * Hygiene: She waits patiently during bathing but gets a bit scared of the hairdryer noise. * Walking: She hasn't gone on walks due to the risk of getting lost. * Car Sickness: She gets a little car sick. 💌Special Notes💌 * She's quiet, calm, and independent. She becomes active when her family is out. * She's afraid of household noises like plastic bag crinkling or object falling. A calm and quiet environment would be ideal to her. * She does not mind being petted or having her paws touched but is afraid of being picked up, which may lead to nipping someone. * She eats a bit slowly due to her picky taste.
