Story
Meet White🧡 He spent his time at a dog slaughter house in South Korea, watching his friends being killed while fearing his turn comes soon. The slaughter house was shut down thanks to Adogs and he was rescued. * With People: Has a shy personality. With a bit of time, he accepts treats placed on the hand and follows people around! * With Dogs: Is a little indifferent towards other dogs. Is not the type to approach or to show interests in other dogs first. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty at Adogs center. * Walks: Likes going for walks. Pulls on the leash when he encounters other animals, so he’s undergoing training for this. Sometimes he gets surprised and barks when he sees large dogs. * Car Sickness: Has a mild car sickness, drooling a little and moving a while.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to ATL💟 Meet Jiyong❤️ In October 2021, Jiyong arrived at Korean city shelter just as the weather was starting to get colder. He was significantly underweight, to the point where his ribs were visible, prompting an urgent rescue. Now, he has gained weight and is healthy enough that his ribs are no longer visible, thriving in the shelter environment. * With People: Jiyong loves people! He has no reservations around strangers and approaches everyone with requests for affection, showing his playful and loving side 🥰 * With Dogs: He gets along well with other dogs. He doesn't initiate play but is friendly and easygoing even with dogs he has just met. He's a little afraid of larger dogs but gets along very well with small dogs. * With Cats: He has not yet had interactions with cats, so his behavior around them is unknown. * Separation Anxiety: Jiyong is comfortable being alone and manages well without people around. * Potty Training: He is fully trained to go outside but occasionally marks outside his kennel. This behavior is improving with ongoing training. * Hygiene: He is not a fan of grooming and nail trimming, requiring gentle coaxing during these activities. * Walking: Jiyong is excellent on walks, enjoying them without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: He travels well in cars without any issues of car sickness. * He rarely barks when he hears noises outside. ** Health Status: complete heartworm treatment ❤️ Foster's Instagram: @i_jiyong_21

Story
LOOKING FOR MY PERSON:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 30 lbs. & needs to gain a bit more weight Hello, my name is Britta!  I came to the Mostly Mutts family from animal control.  I was very scared and timid when I arrived, but the volunteers took their time with me and allowed me the space I needed to feel safe.  Soon, I went to a great foster home, where I have been loving life and have established trust with my person there. My foster has learned a lot about me and has also worked with a Mostly Mutts trainer and I’ve come a long way.  They will be happy to talk with you and share my successes and what works best for me.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I have done well with the neighbor dog when we meet at the chain link fence at my foster home – even play bowing to each other.  My foster noticed that I am dog reactive when on my walks, though.  Being on my leash makes me want to protect her, I think.  It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I’ve not met cats, but I demonstrate a strong prey drive in my foster’s backyard (squirrels, chipmunks, etc.), so I probably should not live with cats. / I haven’t met kids yet and I am quite skittish around people, in general, so I think older kids such as calm teens may be a fit for me – of course we would want to meet and see how we do together.          • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as ‘one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs you could ever meet’.  However, as mentioned above, I’m very skittish around people.  My foster had a friend come visit, and it took me two weeks to accept affection from them, such as some nice petting. I have become less reactive with people, but I do still bark and growl defensively if someone I don’t know enters the house or yard.  I would likely do best with a dog savvy owner that I can bond with and call ‘my person’ and I am not an apartment/condo type dog.  I love running and jumping in my foster’s yard.  My foster thinks I would be great as an agility dog.  Let’s build a course in our backyard and get going on my training!  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My foster is working with a trainer and can verify the fact that I am very smart and that my command training has been easy.  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands, and I have good door etiquette.  I’m currently  working on the ‘down’ and ‘give paw’ commands. / I do NOT like being in a crate and tore up a sleeping pad when my foster left me in there.  The good news is that I haven’t needed to be crated in my foster home, as I’ve done fine with having the run of the house and haven’t destroyed anything.  At bedtime in my foster home, I usually start out sleeping on the sofa but often end up at the foot of my foster’s bed. / My potty habits have been very good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I am a one-person type of dog, (typical of my breed) so I enjoy being near my person though I am not cuddly (also typical of my breed). I love my outside time in my foster’s large, fenced yard.  I leap around the yard like a gazelle at lightning speed a couple times a day and then I enjoy lounging in the yard while I stay alert to furry intruders.  I’ll keep the yard critter-free for you!  Having a secure fence in my new home is an absolute must for me, as I will want to spend a good bit of time outside with my person – my ‘happy place’.  I like to meander while on my walks and will often stop to stare down squirrels, etc.  My foster has discovered that I will often move forward if you tap me on the shoulder, but if I want to hang out somewhere, you need something to read while waiting on me - lol.  I enjoy Nylabones, other chew bones, and tummy rubs from my chosen person too!   For occasional treats I like doggie chicken jerky and a homemade air fried Liverwurst snack that my foster makes. / I’m not a dog that would be happy spending most of my time indoors, so having the opportunity for frequent ‘yard time’ visits with my person would make my day.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a great home with a patient and dog-savvy owner as I am not a first-time kind of dog!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 7, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
Meet Gonji🤍🤍 Gonji was urgently rescued due to overcrowding at Korean city shelter, where there was a risk of euthanasia and exposure to infectious diseases for the young pups. Rescued alongside Yeonji, Yeonji found a family, but Gonji is still searching for her forever home. * Interaction with People: Gonji loves people immensely! She approaches strangers without hesitation, showing her affection and playful nature. * Interaction with Dogs: She is interested in other dogs but is shy about approaching them first. She has good manners and says hi to other dogs. * Interaction with Cats: She gets excited around cats but does not chase them. * Separation Anxiety: She manages well alone for short periods after her guardian leaves but hasn't been left alone for long durations yet. * Potty Training: Achieved 95% success on the training pad. Poops outside. * Hygiene: Though she is afraid of baths, she tolerates them well. She's not fond of the feeling of air from blow dryers but manages to endure it. * Walking: She pulls at first due to excitement but calms down after pottying and sniffing around. * Car Sickness: Not typically prone to car sickness but does exhibit panting. * She has mastered commands like "sit," "lie down," and "wait," and is successful with "give paw" 90% of the time. 🩷 Foster's Instagram: @gonji_puppy
