Story
Meet Nova, a stunning 1 year old spayed female American Eskimo/Great Pyr mix with a beautiful fluffy white coat! Nova weighs about 35lbs. She is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly! She is a very sweet, energetic girl who loves to play.
Nova is good with dogs, cats, people, and older kids 8+ (recommended due to her energetic nature, as she may unintentionally knock over a small child). She would do great in an active home, with a family who can keep her physically and mentally stimulated. She would also love to have a doggo sibling to keep her company and to play with!
Nova is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She is so excited to meet her forever family, could it be you?!
Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
