It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Nue originally came to us from a seizure situation at a sled dog facility. She had only ever known time on the chain and was almost completely feral to humans. She spent a significant amount of time in her foster home before she was adopted where she continued to flourish. Due to a life-changing situation, the adopter was no longer able to keep Nue so her original foster graciously took her back knowing this was the only other home that she had known. Too much of the foster’s surprise she was a completely different dog when returning. She is more confident and more trusting, although she’ll still need a home that understands that she takes a little time to warm up, but after she does, she will vocally tell you how excited she is to see you and even come to you for attention. Nue is a fun loving girl, who needs a good human to help her live a good life. She is a quirky girl and loves a strong routine. She loves spending time outside and would love a fur friend to keep her company!

Sweet Westley was pulled out of the shelter after finding himself on the euthanasia list. The rescue that pulled him then put him through hell before he ended up with our partners and finally making his way here. He came to us fully emaciated. You could see every bone in his body. We have since been working to put weight on and he’s looking great. He will always be a smaller guy around knee height. Westley is the cool kid. He has all the friends and submits to the bullies. He’s a great guy good for any home!

Story
Meet Nova! Hi, I’m Nova! I’m an 8-week-old Bull Terrier/Husky mix, and I’m as unique as my name! You won’t find a pup like me every day. I’m playful, full of energy, and just starting to figure out how much fun toys can be! I love running around with my foster siblings and am doing great with potty training so far. While I have plenty of zoomies to go around, I’m also a total cuddle bug. I’d be the perfect addition to a family with other pets and kids—could that be yours? I’m currently being fostered in Trempealeau, Wisconsin, and I can’t wait to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $350, plus a $100 refundable spay deposit. Apply to adopt me today! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LPRI/Dog Last Paw Rescue 501(c)(3) Approved | WI Agriculture License #285589-DSR
