Story
What Sunny's previous owner has to say about him. Sunny is absolutely energetic. He likes attention, loves to play, and especially loves to run! He also seems to love every dog he meets (although, on rare occasions, that love is not reciprocated). He can be a rather aggressive player, and doesn't always follow proper dog etiquette, but it is something he's improved on over the months. In fact, I think it would be ideal for him to be in a home with other dogs to keep him stimulated. At the very least, somewhere with a big yard is almost necessary. He seems to get along especially well with other huskies. Smaller dogs can be iffy, but that's just because he plays aggressively.I haven't seen him interact with cats ever, so I'm not sure how he'd like that.As for people, he greets everyone he can. Sometimes he'll bark, which can be intimidating to strangers. Sometimes he'll jump up on them. I've tried to break him of those habits and made a little progress. Somehow, he seems to know to be more gentle towards kids. I've never seen him jump on any little ones. He's potty trained and is fairly obedient. He knows how to sit, and will even stay if he's waiting for something he really wants (such as food). Unless he is extremely excited by some stimulus, he will usually listen when he's told "no.

Story
Meet Jasper! This sweet lady is brand new to OCHS and we know she won't be here long. Jasper has done well with other dogs and children, but has never been around cats. She may do well with slow introductions to cats, but we are not sure. She is a german shepard with lots of energy and would do best in an active home who can give her the outlet she needs. Frequent walks, a yard to run in, a ball to throw. Anything like that would be benefitial to Jasper. Please call us to schedule a time to meet her! (715) 362-5992
