Story
I only want replies from someone who can give him work to make him feel fulfilled, or who can contain him. I love this dog to death and it hurts me so much thst i have to give him up, so i need to know hes gonna be going to a place thst can handle him... because apparently i cant Maus is about 4 years old. Hes potty trained but will mark things. Hes an escape artist. I cannot contain him. I feel like of he had a play mate hed be more containable, but i cant afford 2 dogs he has a nearly 8 foot virtacle leap, can undo most latches and clasps, can dig 2 ft a day, and can chew through military grade kevlar vests. Hes fine with cats and larger animals. He really wants to be both a herding dog and a sled dog. He WILL kill chickens. On sight. He has a really stong prey drive. Hes very affectionate with people, and more than once, when accidentally causing injury in play, changed his behavior so as to not cause more injury. Hes wildly smart.

Story
This poor girl is Merida. We have taken her in for as long as we can but want to find her an amazing home. Merida’s owner dumped her in the middle of the woods. Merida spent over two weeks trying to find her way home. Merida found her way back home where they kicked her off the porch and he loaded her up again and went and dumped her. When the people found her they called us to come get her. This dog has been through hell and survived it. She just wants to be loved. She loves men!! We would like to find her a single man with no other dogs to bond with. She’s a lover, she needs someone to be as loyal to her as she is. Just be with her, she’s the smartest dog I’ve ever seen. If she was trained by a police officer or a military person she would guard like no other. She needs to be somewhere on property that she can run and chew on sticks. She is potty trained and does not chew at all. Merida gets along with male dogs but not with female dogs.
