Story
Luna is a a 2-year-old, 9 month, German Shepherd/Husky mix with an endless supply of energy and curiosity. She is incredibly loyal, intelligent, and active, thriving on routines that keep her engaged both physically and mentally. Luna is looking for a new home that has the time and resources to match her energy and needs, ideally, a family with a fenced yard, other active dogs, or a very outdoorsy lifestyle. Luna would do best with someone who can keep up with her high exercise needs and understands her playful yet sensitive personality. She is a beautiful, spirited dog who just needs the right match to really feel at home. I just don’t have the time with my full time job to give her the life she would thrive in, the apartment we live in is also too small for her. Luna’s birthdate is February 5th, 2022. She is all up to date on vaccines and shots. She is house trained, crate trained, and does well on walks. She knows how to sit, lay down, and is food and toy motivated.

Story
Lola is a sweet loving girl. She is about 12 weeks old and has so much energy. She is very intelligent, and can learn new tricks very easily. She love eating ice cubes and chases after them when they fall out of her mouth. I got her from a friend who had puppies. I want Lola to have a home that can let her be her energetic self, learn new tricks, and get the love she needs.

Meadow is the sweetest, most affectionate dog with a Husky personality! She is 9 months old and is crate-trained, house-trained, good with kids and animals, and always happy to play and be super-friendly. She knows commands such as sit, spin, shake, up, lay down, and bed. She is a really good and smart girl. Upon adoption, she would come with a crate, leash, collar, shot records, her favorite rope and bone chew toys, food and water bowls, and her remaining bag of food. Happy to do a meet and greet to see if she’s a good fit for you! Please inquire for more info or with any questions!

Story
Skipper is super playful, curious and adventurous. He loves being close to his people but is good with some alone time. He absolutely LOVES to be outside and would probably enjoy being with a family who hikes or is outdoors a lot. Skipper will need a doggie friend and a backyard to make him his happiest. He looks like a lab, but he's ALL OTHER.  We like that - why get pinned down to one type of dog when what you want is a mix.  I mean, what if you could only eat mexican food all day, for the rest of your life.  It woudl get PRETTY boring.  Skipper's mama is part of our rescue, and she has the sweetest temperment. Temperment is genetic, so keep that in mind too.  APPLY HERE: www.richardsonhumanesociety.org ##1946166##

Mona is plain and simple an awesome dog! She's gorgeous first of all, and her temperament is equally amazing. She is great on kennel and leash. She's friendly with everybody and everything that she has encountered (except maybe not those squirrels and bunnies. Lol) She gives lots of kisses and is an affectionate dog. She's housebroken and we could go on with all the amazing things about Mona! Mona is being fostered outside of our rescue organization and being courtesy listed. Please complete our application and we can pass it on to her advocate family. ##2202944##

Story
This happy little guy couldn't be any cuter! He is one of 5 littermates rescued in a rural area after likely being abandoned by a breeder.    He's 1 1/2 years old and 44 lbs, playful and silly as one would expect! He loves other dogs, going for walks and romping around in the backyard. Because he is a husky he's extra smart, on his toes and active. Bran will be most successful in a home with an owner home more than not. On long days away, doggy daycare is recommended.   To meet Bran in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the house & yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1854436##
