Chloe is a Mini Aussie/German Shepherd mix. She loves playing with other dogs. And that's the only normal thing about her. She is shy with new people, especially men, and new things, but when comfortable in your home, she is sweet and you see her quirky personality. She would make an excellent Working Dog as she is a natural herder and guardian. She will not walk with a leash. You will have to carry her to your car and inside your home, where you must have a doggie door or she will not come inside. She loves to follow closely behind me. She waits outside for me all day and when I return, she wants to be able to see me at all times. She guards me from my other dogs. And reminds me when it's time to go to bed. She loves to be petted but only when you are sitting down. She has a thick coat and is impervious to cold. She will sleep on your patio furniture when it's 22 degrees outside. She can be destructive and chews things like your rug or your chair legs if she is alone or separated from you for too long. She's truly hilarious and will make an excellent addition to your home, as long as you can cater to her quirks/demands. Which include: another dog close in age and energy level that likes to play, a doggie door, and an owner with a generally easy going temperament.

River is shy at first, but really loves his people once he opens up. He also seems to feel it’s his job to be on patrol, so you might see him patrolling the perimeter of the house or yard. Our staff just learned the other day that he chatters when he wants to communicate with you.
