Story
Hi, I'm Banjo a fun loving active young Siberian Husky/Lab mix.  I was found as a stray and I'm looking forward to my very own forever family.  I'm presently living with a family and using a crate at night and when my family leaves the house.  I'm a Husky and I love to run and play and if I get out I'm ready to explore the world so I'll need a family with a secure yard and no small children who may leave a door or a gate open for me to get out.  No apartments or town-homes, please.  I'm presently living with dogs and doing fine. My foster says I'm responding quickly to being in a house and a loving environment and enjoying my training.   I love playing in the pool, jumping and retrieving my football out of the pool with my foster's grandkids and the dog from next door.  Maybe we could go to the next level and do some dock diving!!  I also enjoy my walks on a leash so how about a walking or jogging buddy! I'm ready to go when you are!!!! If you are interested in me, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com to get more information on how to fill out an application and have a great meet and greet to see if we are a match made in heaven.  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old.  A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.   November 3, 2024, 11:08 am

Story
Hi I'm Stella, and I'm looking for a new home where I can be loved and become part of the family.  My foster wanted to tell you a little about me so here it is - "Stella loves to spend time with us, go in the pool, jump hurdles, go for walks and play with her toys. She is a wonderful girl!".  My foster family found me at a local gas station and I love being in a family environment. I'm searching for a loving family where I can be  their number one and given all the  attention I need. I'd probably do OK with older kids (I might knock a smaller child down since I'm a large, active puppy) and kitties if they can put up with my puppy antics. My foster is away from home a lot and has not been  able to be given the attention I so crave and I go to a boarding kennel when all I really want is to be home with my family.  I would love a family that has experience with working dogs, especially German Shepherds who understands the training needed for a young working dog puppy. I've started that training, but you will need to continue giving me lots of gentle guidance until I perfect all those big dog things, like how to behave in a house, how to walk on a leash without pulling, and all those verbal commands every dog should know.  I may even treat people with rough play or decide that a new pair of shoes or a table leg would make a great chew toy, so a lot of appropriate toys should be in my future. The good news is that with the right training and LOTS of love, I'll be the best addition to your family ever and your best bud. If you are interested in her, please send an email to SCP! Applications can be found on our website at secondchancepets.org under the "Forms" tab. Please complete and return to us for review!  All dogs typically show on Saturdays at the Petco in Clear Lake as well. 2410 Bay Area Blvd near Space Center.  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old.
