Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. My dad, Tucker, Lindsy and Tahlia have all gained her trust within minutes. She has stranger danger and probably needs a no cat, no dog under 55 lb, no chicken home. She would be great as an only dog too. She can get skittish with people standing, walking toward her, certain arm placements at first at well. She just wants to stay home. In her yard or neighborhood. With her person. She loves leash walks and car rides but doesn't like going into places. "Peopling" is low on the enjoyment list. As soon as we go on our walks she's so peaceful and happy. It's so hard when we can't even give her what she needs or wants because of the constant needs of other dogs. November 3, 2024, 9:07 pm

Story
Lily is a very high strung dog. We are in our 60’s and she has to much energy for us to keep up with. I am not in good health and it’s hard for me to get up and down to let her in and out. She attaches real easily and is very loyal. She does shed a lot but vacuuming takes it right up. She’s a very good watch dog, but you have to watch her with UPS etc. we live in the country so she has plenty of room to roam. Lilly needs a home that is active and is included in family activities. She is NOT a permanent out side dog. She loves going outside but likes to be inside too! We will provide a kennel, food, a pet vacuum to comb her with and other incidentals. She’s up to date on shots and will provide a vet visit if needed. We will request occasional visits to see that she’s doing ok and want to be able to take her back if things aren’t going well. We love her so much it’s just our circumstances right now. We will return fee if she settles in ok.
