Meet Clover! This handsome almost 6-month-old, 60-pound German Shepherd mix is looking for his forever family. Clover was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned when things didn’t work out with a small child in the home. True to his breed, Clover is energetic, athletic, and incredibly smart. He’ll thrive with structure, boundaries, and continued training. At the rescue, he’s shown a sweet and submissive side, and he gets along well with other dogs. He absolutely loves walks, playtime, and soaking up attention. We believe Clover is house trained, and with his intelligence and eagerness to learn, he’s sure to be a quick study in his new home. Because of his energy and shepherd nature, Clover would do best in a home with older children (if any) and a family ready to give him the guidance, activity, and love he needs to grow into his full potential.

3 and a half months in care… and still no interest. Let’s change that! Ada is a gorgeous 3-year-old, 60-pound lovebug who has been so patient waiting for her forever family. She’s been living in a foster home this whole time, so you know exactly what you’re getting: a fun, affectionate, house-ready girl who will slide right into family life. If you’re looking for an enthusiastic companion, Ada is your girl. She lives for outdoor fun—water adventures, long walks, meeting new people, chasing balls, you name it. She’s full of life and happiest when she’s moving, exploring, and being part of whatever you’re doing. She even powered through a 5-mile walk recently and loved every second! Ada is smart and learning quickly. Her leash skills are improving (less pulling now!), and she just needs someone who can keep a good pace and enjoy adventures with her. She’s wonderful with kids and good with everyone—though she tends to pick a favorite person to be her shadow. She’s also working on her relationship with the resident cat. And the cuddles… oh, the cuddles. Ada isn’t just a snuggler; she needs that connection. It’s like affection recharges her emotional battery. She leans in with her whole heart (and maybe her paws).
