Story
Hennessy comes to us from a rural shelter where he ended up after his owner died. He waited for 4 months for someone to adopt him. No one came. We had to bring him into our rescue when we heard his story. So, welcome, Hennessy! Shout out to Pilots N Paws volunteer pilots for getting him to us!!! We are estimating his age at about 10 years and he's a nice size at 60 pounds. He's a great dog. He's got good house manners and is housetrained. He rides well in the car. He's good with most dogs, but doesn't appreciate dogs that are in his face. We do not know how he is with cats. We are recommending only older children for Hennessy because he gets grumpy if handled roughly. Hennessy rarely barks and does not try to challenge his foster mom's fence, unlike some huskies.He enjoys spending time outside and is content to lay on his foster mom's porch and survey his kingdom. He's a good boy! At the veterinarian's office he was well behaved and accepted handling by the vet and the vet tech. The veterinarian commented on what a nice dog he is! Hennessy is not a fan of being crated, but does accept the crate when needed. Even though considered a senior dog, he does like to run and play! Hennessy's adoption fee is $200 and includes, neuter, vaccines and microchip.
